Spending a day in the magnificent gardens at Babylonstoren is magic. There is always fruit on the trees, flowers in the beds, herbs to taste or smell, regardless of the season. The kids enjoy the freedom to run around, look at ducks and chickens, tortoises, squirrels, turkeys and more. To have lunch at the glass house is the logical thing... More

We went to the cafe, the service was good, menu small but wonderful, lovely cordials. We walked round the gardens, it was winter so they weren't in full bloom but we can't wait to return in another season.

Walk through a magnificent herb, vegetable and other things garden to a casual restaurant under the oak trees, or if weather not great, in the greenhouse. Small, reasonable menu of farm fresh products. Will come again

Very average food. Very average service. Waited for ages for the waiters. Not impressed. I won't easily go back.

This place is Heaven. A walk through the themed garden cannot easily be matched. It is a complete sensory experience. A beautiful fresh lunch, picked daily from the garden is served in a stunning greenhouse. You could spend hours here, tasting wine, eating relaxing in a quiet spot under a tree or browsing the shop. Whatever you do, don't miss... More

If you just need a cup of coffee, this is a lovely visit. However the Greenhouse Restaurant serves bland bland overpriced food. For example a trout sandwich is served on a ciabatta bun with no butter or lemon or even cream cheese. This cost R75. Yes there was a deconstructed salad of sorts and a tasteless salad dressing but so... More

We went there on a Saturday morning. The sky was cloudy and it was a bit chilly but it was still a lovely day to be outside. We first did a guided tour of the garden, which is something that I recommend everyone should do. The tour guide had a lot of knowledge not only about the gardens layout but... More

You sit outside, surrounded by lovely agricultural fields and orchards and they bring you the most beautiful food: red salad, green salad, yellow salad, wonderful combinations of veggies and fruit that are all in the color spectrum of the title. You take pictures, you oh and ah, then you eat.

The visit to this vineyard is not to be missed if you live gardens. Very impressed with the grounds. Had casual dining at the greenhouse which is mostly salads and sandwiches made fresh from the gardens. All in all a delightful experience with family. Take enough time as there is lots to see and a lovely atmosphere to spend in... More
