For a setting, Cafe Bon Bon is hard to top. The huge oak trees, stunning cloud fall coming over the mountain peaks that tower over you, gracious patio venue, and lovely buildings and furnishings---all contribute to assure you will have a delightful meal. Our favorite here is breakfast, but lunch is nearly everyone else's choice. The menu is not extensive,... More

Lovely location, just outside Franschhoek. Sit on the Terrace and enjoy quality food - we particularly enjoy lunchtime. Not a great deal of choice, but everything we have had over the years has been excellent. Need to book at busy times.

Terrific setting, attentive staff, phenomenal attention to detail, mouth-watering gourmet meals. What more do you need for a wonderful afternoon with family or friends. Hoghly recommended, both Cafe BonBon and the Le Petit Dauphine Guestfarm just outside Franschhoek are worlds apart from the ordinary, and inspiriing examples of what is possible, by proud owners Gert & Louis

Such a pretty place! We arrived for a late lunch, and despite that we received a wonderful welcome from everyone including the pet Cockerel! We chose the "specials" and so they were! Delicious and innovative - I'm going to try the Almond and Grape soup at home! Lovely fresh produce and excellent wines, all at very good prices. The ambience... More

We booked for a late lunch and arrived slightly late - but no problem! The food for all 6 of us was superb, especially my blue fillet steak - amazing! I was equally amazed at the low cost as well - fantastic value for money. Well recommended.

Apparently the suites at this property are pretty special but we were only able to sample the food at the cafe on this visit to Franschoek. We called in for lunch on our way to catch a plane and were thrilled with what we found. If you crave simple, beautifully prepared and presented food, consumed al fresco in gardens to... More

We went back to Cafe Bon Bon on this trip because we could not get the memory of their Crisp Belly of Pork out of our minds! It was worth second trip! Delicious! The Sticky Chicken Salad is also good not to mention the rest of their menu. We regretted not taking pictures of the most beautiful Lemon Tart I... More
