We returned to La Petite Ferme after a 15 year gap wondering if the food would match the fabulous experience we had had 15 years before when we visited as a party of 3 couples. This time with 5 children in tow we arrived on a chilly day for the last lunch setting. We all absolutely loved the food, the... More

This is the sixth visit for one of our family, third for another and second for the rest of us. Can safely say this won't be our last! We have been coming here for over 12 years now and for a place to be able to maintain its top quality standards in food, attention to detail, service and welcome is... More

Big hell to the yeh! This winery and restaurant was great. The food was delicious, wine was superb and setting one of the best in Franschhoek. Our b&b highly recommended this spot and I would totally agree. We had the poached pear salad and prosciutto wrapped Camembert for starters - both amazing. Then the beef fillet with roasted bone marrow... More

We visited La Petite Ferme today. Absolutely stunning location, service was great and the Slow Braised Lamb was out of this world!!! I've already started to plan another visit! Yum!!!

My favourite restaurant and winery in Franscheok by a large margin. Wonderful food only barely outdone by the amazing view. Our short lunch turned in to an afternoon of food, wine and more food all while enjoying the breathtaking view. We were also fortunate to have enjoyed a wine tasting and tour with one of the winemakers. It was quite... More

We stopped over here for lunch as a second choice, after our first choice restuarant was closed for renovations. But I will not make that mistake again. Visiting this restuarant is an experience that you will not forget. The food is out of this world and the beautiful setting and scenary perfectly complements the meal.

Le Petite Ferme really is set with superb views across the valley. It probably relies on this as the food wasn't as good as I would expect. Perhaps because we ate at Le Bon Vivant last night it was bound to seem average, and of course you expect lunch to be a more casual meal. We went for Sunday lunch... More

I think, what make our whole experience of Le Petite Ferm so special, was the opportunity to have a tour around the vineyard and premises before our meal, by the elder gentleman who owns the entire complex. We expected to be on the tour with many other people, but that day it was just us and the owner, and we... More

La Petite Ferme came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint! We had a lovely table in the sunroom overlooking the vineyard, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The photographs of the view from our table look just like a postcard. The menu had an excellent variety; we settled on the springbok with a glass of pinotage and the... More
