Description: Celebrating 29 years in 2014, Bandanas is a family run, seasonal restaurant in Wildwood Crest. At Bandanas we make all of our marinades, sauces and salsas from scratch daily, and use only the freshest fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices in our homestyle, preservative-free preparations. We seek out high quality meats and aged natural cheeses and buy local produce and fish. Emphasis is on a lighter, healthier approach to cooking and our menu items are prepared to order. Although we have no liquor license, you may 'bring your own" or try one of our non-alcoholic beers or margaritas to complement your dining. Relax and Enjoy! Be sure to leave room for dessert because the Fried Banana Split and Warm, Homemade Brownie Sundae are not to be missed. If you're really stuffed after Indulging in way too much delicious Bandanas Chips and Salsa, pick up a homemade Waffle Cone with your favorite flavor ice cream (2013's hit was Salted Caramel Pretzel), on your way out. Opening for the 2014 season on Friday, May 16. Call for pre season hours. Beginning in mid June we will be open daily for lunch, dinner and dessert. Be sure to check out our Build Your Own Burrito Bar available in season daily til 3 pm. Adios for now!

Don't eat here if you are celiac. They are not aware of the dangers of cross contamination. They served my daughter's gluten free salad in a taco shell with wheat. They suggested that I just remove the salad from the shell. They also fry their chips with other items that contain gluten but don't disclose that. They are overpriced and... More

The food is always very good, fresh and plentiful. You may have a wait but they have call ahead seating where they put your name on the list 15 minutes before you plan to arrive. We go to Bandanas every time we visit Wildwood. It is one of our favorites.

This review leaves our staff dismayed and bewildered. At Bandanas we strive to maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction. Although we have no idea what it was about your dining experience that you disliked, (except the iced tea), we wish we would have had the opportunity to serve you better. Our knowledgeable staff can answer questions about ingredients and... More

I think the lady was the owner, but I am not really sure, however she was rude to my wife as we walked in. The attitude that we got was that we were bothering her. In a good mood we let it slide and she seated us. We ordered our food and instead of a beef dish I received a... More

Oh my.....I hope it wasn't me who gave you a bad first impression of Bandanas! I mostly stay in the back, but every once in a while they let me out into the dining room, and, I must admit, our great hostess staff does a much better job of greeting guests than me! About your food....I assume you told your... More

Chips and salsa were delicious. We got 2 different soft shell tacos and there was nothing special about them. The meat was drowned by some sort of sauce. Waiter could have been more interested in us than he was. Expect better food and service from a shore/resort restaurant.

Although I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food, we tried Bandanas for dinner because they do have a varied menu. I ordered pulled pork sandwich which was very good. The guacamole dip was excellent and everyone was happy with their choices. Of course the ice cream sundaes were awesome and they offer a 'Lite' sundae in a smaller size... More

I was really turned off by how overpriced this place is. What a tourist trap. It's like going to Great Adventure and finding out that water costs $5. It hurts. We had already had dinner and were looking for ice cream and maybe some sort of delightfully greasy and decadent appetizer. I guess i'm of the belief that mexican food... More

The first time we went (on a Sunday night), we waited well over an hour but it was worth it! We really enjoyed the food and the ice cream was awesome...so good, that we went back a couple of days later (a bit earlier and didn't wait as long for a table). The food was just as good and so... More
