Here's a sweet little local spot devoid of the area's tourist trap renown. Cold beer, good food and decent service. Not upscale, just friendly and comfortable. Food came out quickly and hot. Service was very friendly. Very reasonably priced for a tourist town. If you just want to relax with some friends don't pass this one by. Although I didn't... More

Had lunch at the Crest Tavern. My husband ordered a taco salad and it had no flavor. The hamburg topping was not seasoned, and the taco shell bowl was stale and flavorless. I ordered the chopped salad which was nothing more than some lettuce with chicken on top. Very boring. Will not go again. The only thing that was good... More

Stayed in Wildwood for month long escape. We kept looking for a good place to eat. Finally found this great place. Prices are very reasonable and the food was really good. We especially were looking for great crab cake and we found it here. A real good destination!

Have been eating at Crest Tavern for many years. Always been our go to place but tonight was awful. Service was off--brought wrong apps. Took a half hour to get simple meal, not entrees. Obviously the kitchen was slow. My Crab Portobello salad was not as good as usual--the salad was poorly prepared as compared to previous times ordered. Was... More

This has been our go to place for over 12 yrs. food is very good and consistent. If you like shrimp the Mardi Gras is amazing. Gets very crowded in the summer. Prices are very reasonable. Only gave four stars bc mixed drinks are very average, stick with wine or beer and you are fine.

This is my third time at the Crest Tavern. I go because the food is great, reasonably priced....once you get past the hostess. I've never encountered such an inhospitable hostess in my life. Not only is she abrupt and rude, she could care less is you stay or go. I think she actually talked people out of staying. After my... More

We vacation twice a year in Wildwood and this is the first place we come too! Food is excellent and prices can't be beat. Wednesday is chicken pot pie day and boy is it delicious! Mussels marinara I just can't say enough about it...just awesome! The fish is all fresh and you get a good helping. It's a small place... More

We've done take out and dined in and the food is always really good. It's nothing extravagant but all fresh and well prepared. The beer selection at the bar is incredible and the staff is always very friendly. We're frequent customers in the summer and are always happy.
