The food is on par with generic diner food. Nothing is spectacular. I've been there three times over the past three years. This year, it was very slow with the meal and the restaurant was not crowded at all. The slice of pot roast I got was very fatty, although others in my party got perfectly fine pieces of meat.... We have been eating at Groffs for over 40 years. It was ok. The service was very good. The blackbottom pie was so good. Wish they still gave the free pie with dinner.

We wanted to get a good meal on our last night before heading home. So we found Groffs just off the boardwalk. Found it to be a wonderful atmosphere , family owned ran and operated. The steak was ok not the best but very good. The sides I had , green beans and apple sauce were sadly caned and not... More

-4 adults and 1 child; I had Crab Cakes with instant mashed potatoes and a house salad. Crab cakes were okay (I had better), they had a lot of stuffing and very little pieces of crab. I was disappointed for paying $20.99 for this dish. The family had other items that seemed to disappoint as well. Father with fried chicken... More

Went there on our last night of our stay. My wife had the flounder and I splurged for the surf & turf. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious. Staff was tremendous and knowledgeable about specials and menu. Salads had some special greens. Wish we had found this restaurant, earlier in our trip!

Went here on a Saturday night with my wife, daughter in law and 2 small grandkids. Surprisingly there was no wait. Waitress was great. Everyone liked their meals, even the kids. This is not gourmet but is good family dining.

I started with the clam chowder, and it was some of the best I had ever had! I then had an order of fried scallops for my entrée that were very tasty. Best of all, the pie was absolutely incredible. I am a big fan of Key Lime Pie, so I tried their Lemon Meringue and it did not disappoint.... More

Nice stop for a sit down dinner at the shore. Seafood and great family fare. We like the old time photos on the wall and the traditional touches in the dining room. Save room for the home made pie.

Groff's has great food been going there since I was a kid. They have dinners, ice cream, an arcade and mini golf. All in one place. On Pacific and Hand Ave.

Went there because my friend remembers eating there as a little boy about 50 years ago. So it was nice to go in here for the nostalgic factor. The food was just OK nothing to get excited over and it was a little pricy. BUT the staff was very friendly
