Description: The Ravioli House is the oldest Italian Restaurant in the City of Wildwood, NJ. In the past 43 years not much has changed at Bennett and New Jersey Avenues in Wildwood. The Ravioli House and Pastry Shop is an Italian family restaurant with a complete take-out service. It is still owned and operated by the DeSanctis family. Antonio and Teresa came to Philadelphia from Italy to live with relatives. Every summer their families would travel to Wildwood to stay with Antonio’s aunt, who owned a building where she made homemade pasta. Teresa loved the idea of owning a restaurant, and in 1970 the Ravioli House opened its doors for the first time. The Ravioli House provides a warm and inviting ambiance with beautiful murals of towns and villages in Italy. Customers enjoy authentic Italian cuisine to the soundtrack of soft Italian music. At the Ravioli House, everything is homemade. It is just like eating in your grandmother’s kitchen. Choose from spaghetti, linguini, fettuccini, angel hair, rigatoni, gnocchi, potato gnocchi, and cavatelli. Then select one of 10 sauces to enjoy a pasta feast just the way you like it. Pasta selections don’t stop here. Try the stuffed shells, manicotti, baked ziti, and ravioli, or try “The Trip Around Italy” for a true taste sensation.

We decided to visit the Ravioli House instead of Little Italy this year. It was ok. We had the antipasti appetizer which was very oily and calamari which seemed to come out of a frozen bag. The lobster ravioli were good. The seafood alfredo was very watery, and the chicken spinach dish was bland. The decor was dated and cheap.... More

The ravioli were okay. The gnocchi I did not like at all and sent it back. Italian food is my favorite, and we go a lot, so I would have to say it was just okay. Probably would not go back again.

Great family dining at the Jersey Shore. I am always deterred by the lines of people that are waiting outside for a table so I usually keep driving and look for another place to eat. This past Sunday we drove by and saw no line so I decided to stop and give it a try. Very happy that we did.... More

My family and I visited Ravioli House on a Saturday night and were pleased that there was no wait. We ordered the cold antipasto and fried mozzarella as appetizers. Both were tasty, especially the sharp provolone in the antipasto. Our service however left a bit to be desired. Our waitress took a long time bringing over water and had to... More

Each year, we dine at the Ravioli House when visiting Wildwood. It is an absolute must! The food is delicious, amazing sauce, and service is always very good. This year, we took friends who had never dined there before. They raved about it as well. Can't wait to go back next year!

The place was clean and neat, the service good, but the food was nothing to talk about. The rolls were out of a package, the salad had WAY, WAY to many peppers in it, (that's all you could taste) and the ravioli's (which you think should be their specialty) really were just dough. Not much taste. The Italian rum cake... More

First time here and heard good things. I was expecting homemade quality Italian food. Unfortunately that's not we received. Rolls cold no dipping oil, ravoli to thick and no taste, crab mushrooms, have no idea what to say terrible. What's up with the house salad? Iceberg carrots and peppers all slipped together. What ever happened to good old romaine homemade... More

I've dined at the Ravioli House for years and years. . . My grandparents used to take me there when I was still in diapers (so they told me). When I started vacationing on my own in Wildwood it was always a no-brainer that I would visit. I have literally watched members of the DeSanctis family grow up over the... More

I'm pointing this at the owners because they clearly don't have a chef. They are shameful for cashing in on the beach visitors but that's all they'll get, they won't be back based on the food we had last night. We were a party of six so there was plenty to rate them on. Home made pasta...why bother it was... More

It was my only chance to go out to a nice dinner on my vacation and we picked the ravioili house. My boyfriend's chicken parm tasted like the sauce was from a ragu jar. My own mothers sauce is even made homemade. I ordered the shrimp scampi which tasted like it was dipped in butter, no flavor what so ever.... More
