The Ravioli House is the oldest Italian Restaurant in the City of Wildwood, NJ. In the past 43 years not much has changed at Bennett and New Jersey Avenues in Wildwood. The Ravioli House and Pastry Shop is an Italian family restaurant with a complete take-out service. It is still owned and operated by the DeSanctis family. Antonio and Teresa came to Philadelphia from Italy to live with relatives. Every summer their families would travel to Wildwood to stay with Antonio’s aunt, who owned a building where she made homemade pasta. Teresa loved the idea of owning a restaurant, and in 1970 the Ravioli House opened its doors for the first time. The Ravioli House provides a warm and inviting ambiance with beautiful murals of towns and villages in Italy. Customers enjoy authentic Italian cuisine to the soundtrack of soft Italian music. At the Ravioli House, everything is homemade. It is just like eating in your grandmother’s kitchen. Choose from spaghetti, linguini, fettuccini, angel hair, rigatoni, gnocchi, potato gnocchi, and cavatelli. Then select one of 10 sauces to enjoy a pasta feast just the way you like it. Pasta selections don’t stop here. Try the stuffed shells, manicotti, baked ziti, and ravioli, or try “The Trip Around Italy” for a true taste sensation.

Mostly mediocre

This restaurant has a lot of air for mostly mediocre food. We had a 7:50 "waitlist" for a party of 8 and were not seated until 8:30...basically one of the last parties to be seated for the night. With this kind of wait, we expected exceptional fare but it was not so. My lasagna was pretty bland... read more

Had dinner at the Ravioli House, and it was so-so. The pasta was good, but there was nothing outstanding. The sauce, meatballs and the sausage weren't that great. I was expecting the food to be a bit better based on some of the reviews that I read.

Great family restaurant. Run by an Italian America family. Neapolitan / New York style food. The sausage, pasta, tomato sauce and meats are great. Fresh mozzarellla. They have a small side shop to order to go food and the pastry are great too. buon appetito.

Had Father's Day dinner at The Ravioli House in Wildwood, NJ. Not our first visit and it surely won't be our last. Went there years ago on a personal recommendation from a friend and have been back again and again. The Pasta is so very different from dried and boxed pastas. Really delicious. Had the Veal Cutlet Parm which was... More

Once again, we had a great dinner at the Ravioli House. I had the Pollo di Ravioli House, my wife always has a veal dish and my daughter the gnocci. I always try something different and am never disappointed. Large portions of great food. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You'll enjoy this casual, family restaurant

First the good -- antipasto, service, gnocchis were all phenomenal. Sadly, they topped it all using a very bitter sauce (they just reduced tomato spice without adding any spices). The pasta was probably homemade (appearance would indicate such). Better sauce would give this place a few more stars.
