Description: The Ravioli House is the oldest Italian Restaurant in the City of Wildwood,...
The Ravioli House is the oldest Italian Restaurant in the City of Wildwood, NJ. In the past 43 years not much has changed at Bennett and New Jersey Avenues in Wildwood. The Ravioli House and Pastry Shop is an Italian family restaurant with a complete take-out service. It is still owned and operated by the DeSanctis family. Antonio and Teresa came to Philadelphia from Italy to live with relatives. Every summer their families would travel to Wildwood to stay with Antonio’s aunt, who owned a building where she made homemade pasta. Teresa loved the idea of owning a restaurant, and in 1970 the Ravioli House opened its doors for the first time. The Ravioli House provides a warm and inviting ambiance with beautiful murals of towns and villages in Italy. Customers enjoy authentic Italian cuisine to the soundtrack of soft Italian music. At the Ravioli House, everything is homemade. It is just like eating in your grandmother’s kitchen. Choose from spaghetti, linguini, fettuccini, angel hair, rigatoni, gnocchi, potato gnocchi, and cavatelli. Then select one of 10 sauces to enjoy a pasta feast just the way you like it. Pasta selections don’t stop here. Try the stuffed shells, manicotti, baked ziti, and ravioli, or try “The Trip Around Italy” for a true taste sensation.

Stick with the Pasta

We have visited the Ravioli House a number of time and the pasta dishes are always fresh and reminiscent of how randma used to make pasta and gravy. Best dishes are the simple one here...stick with the pasta (and meatballs too). The small shop attached with pastries and fresh pasta is fantastic... read more

First I'll start by saying it has taken me two weeks to write this because if I had sooner I probably would of written some nasty comments. Food was just ok but staff are probably the worse I've ever dealt with. We, a party of 4 adults, walked in at 5:35 on a sat night... A waitress never came over... More

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. That was our last night of the season and we were short staffed. We would, however, like to bring this to resolution and learn more about your experience. Please send us an inbox. Thank you, More

We went here on a recommendation. The inside is nice but then comes the disappointment... food. The bread was old, cold, stale and hard. The really bad part for me was at 5:45 pm there is no meat ravioli in a place called the ravioli house. Next my wife noticed the sauce was dark which meant nothing done like seasoning... More

First, the service was great, our server was so nice and helpful. I had the Veal Francaise and my husband had the gnocchi and meatballs. I was concerned about food sensitivities that I have I asked about preparation and the the server and the kitchen responded so nicely. The food was very good! And the serving sizes were more than... Great raviolis but superb manicotti! Also one of the best Italian sausage, much better than their meatballs, which I have no complaint. Great soup and desserts, everything from start to finish was excellent. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Our only issue was the cost. Two of us on a Saturday early evening paying $82 for Italian food seemed... More
