Stopped at Route 66 for a quick bite for dinner with my kids. Sat right on the stools on the boardwalk. I tried one of their signature specialty burgers and I'll have to admit, it was pretty darn good. My kids had the pizza (of course) which they said they liked, but when I took a bite, I thought it... 5 of us went there this morning for breakfast. Arrived at 10:30 and there weren't many people in there. It took us 50 minutes to get our food. Food was mediocre. Pork roll was sliced thin and dried out. Egg, spinach and feta cheese sandwich was good. It just took too long for our food to arrive.

Great food, great service, great fun (dancing waiters) and a great part of the Doo Wop experience in WW!

If you appreciate a Jersey Diner, you can't be in the Wildwoods without checking this joint out! Even if you're staying south of the Convention Center, hop the tram and relax on your ride over. Great boardwalk fare, mixed with a traditional diner menu, has brought us to Route 66 for at least one breakfast, one lunch and one dinner... More

All the Debates about who has the Best Pizza on the Boardwalk Ends as soon as you enjoy a Slice of Delicious Pizza from Rt. 66. They are Definitely one of the Best and as far as I'm concerned Tied for first place for The Best. Their Servers are very Friendly and they Dance too! It's a Great place to... More

Needed a good place to sit down and have tasty, and filling breakfast. Lucked up and found this resturant. Staff nice and very friendly. Prices seem fair, and the food was excellent. My mother had pancakes and my nephew had blueberry pancakes and they both loved them. I had French toast and bacon, and it was very good. Great food... More

I was trying to find a place that sold food that wasn't fried in peanut oil on the boardwalk, so i found Route 66 and ordered the appetizer sampler which had onion rings, chicken strips and mozzarella sticks. The chicken was very tough and stringy, onion rings you couldn't even taste the onion at all, and the mozzarella sticks were... More

The sign outside said try our gyros, do I did. Excellent. Neff and lamb. The El Paso salad with chicken was also very good. Spicy dressing, but good. The burger also very good.

Every year we go to Wildwood the first week of August. My birthday usually falls somewhere in the middle of the week and this is where I always celebrate it. The staff is friendly and the food is a great value for the price. The kids love the dancing that the waitresses do at 6 oclock. It is a fun... More
