We went to the Village Inn for an anniversay dinner using a Resturant.com Gift Card. We didn't realize that the card was difficult to use. It was a $50.00 card but resturant honors only $25.00, and we had to spend quite a bit of time going to the Resturant.com site on our smart phone to redeem the... read more

Talked with John about having a memorial dinner for about 20 folks in our family. He was most helpful & suggested the downstairs wine cellar. The oak wood gave a nice warm feeling. It was private, pleasant, & the food, the service, the patience of the waitress was fantastic. We ordered a variety of apps and everyone raved about them,... More

If we didn't research the area well before going it would be difficult to find. The building is so old and weathered that we weren't certain it was open. You enter into the bar area with the dining area to the left. The place looked and smelled old, definitely not a pleasant looking restaurant. Again the dining area was nothing... More

50+ year old Italian restaurant in a large home style building with several dining rooms & a very active bar. Strolling guitar player on Friday evenings, full bar & a large parking lot. Very average but good food served by inattentive server. Reasonable prices & very good deserts made for a decent night out. We'd come back & try it... More

This is more of a very local clientele restaurant than a special occasion restaurant. The video was misleading. I thought it was going to be a special evening and it turned out as a disaster.

The Village Inn has long been a fav for me and my wife. The fireplace is cozy in the winter time. Service comes with a friendly smile. The food is great. I recommend the Crab Cakes, and when they are available, the Pork Shank is delicious. They also have a nice back room for catered

cozy homey feeling when you enter, you can sit comfortably while waiting . we got a nice spacious corner table , greeted by a very pleasant staff. she was very accomodating and patient with the kids. the menu is straightforward, and the choices are few but varied, the olive loaf was delicious warm and crispy very soft on the inside.... Thanksgiving day dinner. I wanted to like this restaurant. The promo for the dinner seemed good. Our party of 5 was seated at a nice table. There were 2 rooms. The one in the front next to the bar was cramped.. very cramped. There were 4 large party tables there along with the "Viennese" table of desserts. We were in... More

This was our 3rd time at the Village Inn, the first time about a year ago was a good experience. The second time was also pretty good, this time was not so good. Our waitress was young and lacked experience. She had no idea what types of beer were on tap, she had to ask the bar tender and she... More
