My family has been raving about Esposito's Maplewood for years. We made a special trip there over the weekend (it's over an hour away), and I was really impressed. I ordered the lump crab and scallop scampi over their homemade spaghetti...YUMMMM. The lumps of crab meat are huge! The homemade pasta was so good too, very light. I also ordered... More

Four of us visited this restaurant while on a weekend visit to the area. After a short wait at the bar, we were seated next to a large table of VERY loud people; the only problem for our meal. Our waitress was extremely friendly and efficient. Our two friends ordered the chowder while my husband and I split the fried... More

There are few absolutes in live but I can absolutely count on a consistently great meat here. This restaurant is a favorite around here. Their pasta is home made and their seafood is always perfect. Can't recommend it highly enough - and the prices are very reasonable. Their staff is helpful, efficient, and friendly.

When in with a total of four people, gave my name at the door and was told it would be 15 minutes to take a seat at the bar. 40 minutes go by and they take everyone that's been waiting even a group that arrived after us. When I when to the front to inquire, I was told the group... More

We have been patrons of this restaurant for 28 years. Really like the special entrees as the chef is very creative. Some old standbys are also good. I love soft shell crabs but not fried like they are at Maplewood. They won't cook them sautéed as they are all per dipped in batter. I used to like the salad too... More

What a wonderful dining experience food was great worth the price finally a restaurant that can prepare seafood. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy and of a unique blend lobster, crabmeat and shrimp it was out of this world. Our daughter had Surf and Turf with a twist beef filet and a lump meat crab cake (all crab meat... More

We had a very quiet dinner for two. The service was on the spot and on time. The food was as advertised and ordered. What is dinner without some wine? They had a bottle of wine at every table. We will return.

This place has been here forever. They remodeled the back room and it is very nice. We had Thanksgiving dinner together and the food and service was great! Nice to have that home cooked food instead of chain restaraunts. Will go back.

We went to the Maplewood for a birthday, and it was my first visit. There were few people under 60 there, and I understand why: Maplewood is a "family tradition" type of restaurant, a place for celebrating graduations, anniversaries, etc. The decor is old- fashioned and dark, not a bad thing in these days of brightly lit, noisy restaurants whose...
