Always good

Have been eating here for over 20 years, always good and inexpensive. Hot-dogs, burgers, cheesesteaks etc..never tried anything I didn't like. Most places cannot say they have been there 50+ years, but they can. The menu has greatly expended, but eat outside or in the waitress part, the food is still good. Dogs are great, but get them extra well done.

We live just down the street from this place but only go down 2 or 3 times a summer. The hot dogs are not crisp like they used to be , the rolls are just ok. The outside staff barely talks to you & they don't listen to your request for "a little" mustard. Half the time when we order... More

This place has a decent hot dog, but to me, the burgers and steak sandwiches are better. It's a good, but not great place and it's cheap.

I was brought here as a child and have been coming back for more than 50 years. I don't drive on the GS parkway (exit 138) without stopping here for a burger, hot dog and onion rings with a beer. I bring my family just as my parents brought me. There have been minor upgrades over the years, but the... More

Got a the chili dog which might be the only place in America which has a bun that fits the dog. Chili was tasty and comes with mustard. Also had the California burger which was average.

They just expanded the restaurant and the menu which is great. The tables, floors, chairs and especially the filthy old rest rooms need a lot more attention. They redid The dining area and didn't touch the bathrooms, literally. They are gross I would not use them on a bet. The girls try very hard to get food out quick but... More

I have been attending events at The Galloping Hills for years, and I have never been disappointed. This Memorial Day weekend, attended my cousins wedding reception. It was truly an event to remember. The entire staff are consummate professionals and receptive to your needs of throwing a great event. The food is very good. I am always excited to attend... More

I’ve been coming here for decades. Years and years ago (like 100), it was called Petersons, and the locals still call it that, despite the name change to Galloping Hill Grill. The name has never been important as the experience was always the same; a great place to grab a hot dog, some amazing onion rings, and a cold beer.... More

....love this place. My current job has me on the road quite a bit now ...and for some tasty, quick food ...the Galloping Hill is on my "do it often" list when I'm nearby. The hot dogs are top notch ...and the fries can be a meal by themselves. I usually grab-and-go, but there's indoor seating, and in the warmer... More
