Came here on the 26th looking for your ordinary BBQ but then got much more, as having a mother from the south and bringing her here she said "it reminded her of home" this is southern style BBQ done right. If you don't enjoy the dry.rub they do give you 2 amazing sauces a home-made BBQ and an apple cider... More

The menu was almost endless. Plus lots of daily specials. I don't usually mention servers names, but Debbie was above and beyond, made suggestions and was very attentive. Water with lemon, coffee mug always topped off. Checked on us without being over bearing.(popped in with coffee pot) I judge a breakfast on freshness...... the two eggs I had were perfectly... More

This is Southern style BBQ done right! No goofey sugary mess here! Nope, just down home great rubbed BBQ! Open only a month so the waitstaff is trying but? The food is the calling card here! Had the Burnt Ends for the Appy. Great moist brisket ends w/ horse radish sauce. Then dry rubbed ribs. Superb, moist, not overly spiced,... More

If anyone ever decides to go to shortys.. never order the ribs! They are horrible! They are not seasoned. They are served dry on a plate. They claim to have seasoned them. Looks and tastes like ham then st louis ribs. Even the pulled pork is served dry on a plate. Stupid! I sent it back. I ended up just... More

Service was really bad, perhaps because it was fathers day and they were unexpectedly busy. I would let that slide if it weren’t for the food also being pretty awful. I had a fried seafood platter which was nearly burnt, along with a baked potato that was way over cooked. My date had some sort of eggplant chicken Parm dish... More

Granted it was father's day and we didn't have a res. We pulled up expecting Scojos and saw the name had changed to shortys. We were sat and 15 minutes went by before we walked out, never saw a drink or a waiter. We went to Stewart's down the street.

Had just moved to the area and was looking for a breakfast spot as there is no IHOP or Perkin's around the corner. Was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast choices and the atmosphere. Since it was the middle of winter we obviously could not sit outside, but I look forward to going in the summer and doing so, looking out... More

Our whole family loves Scojo's. It's a real family place with a friendly atmosphere. The menu is varied--there is something for everyone, including dieters and vegetarians. Their Manhattan Clam chowder is tasty and chockfull of clams. Their Belgian Waffle for breakfast is to die for. Their Thursday night Pot Roast is better than mine and I make a great Pot... More

Love this place! Great breakfasts, great lunches, (most) dinners are all inclusive at an awesome price; so much food you have to take it home! Feels like family everytime you walk through the door. Oh, and the cookies at the register.... BEST oatmeal raisin cookies ever!
