This is your typical "Cheers" type bar. Many locals. Even though I'm local, their locals are even more local. I don't know how their steaks are, but their wings are pretty good. I ordered the hot with the double hot sauce on the side.. They sent the wings with the double hot sauce instead. I like hot spicy foods, but... More

I usually visit Pete's when I go to visit family in Trenton. They moved to a bigger location with a full bar. Feels more like a bar atmosphere with a few dinner tables rather than the old Pete's that was like a small diner with an open grill where you could watch the magic happen. I think the menu has... We live in town and have visited on a number of ocassions. The breakfast is normally verygood, with the service always attentive. My son's favorite is the New Jersey standard pork roll egg and cheese sandwich.

Went to Pete's because they will serve eggs at midday. The bacon was tasty and crisp, eggs were supposed to be over easy, but were patchy brown crusted. Potatoes were raw. Seemed a very long time before food arrived and it wasn't busy at all. Very pleasant wait person. Okay experience overall, but I won't rush back.

Pete's offers a really excellent steak sandwich, and shame on you if you drive by this place at lunchtime without stopping! I've eaten lunch there 4 or 5 times in the last year, and I always order the 'real' steak sandwich - an actual steak, not the chopped up minute steaks we're accustomed to, but a real piece of meat.... I will drive an hour each way for one of Pete's Tomato Pies. They are simply that good. I absolutely love the chunk Italian sausage tomato pie. The crust is thin and crisp, the sauce is sweet and classically Italian. They use just the right amount of cheese to make their pies the best in the area, and I have... More

We arrived about 6:30pm, although there wasn't a wait for a table, it took a very long time before we were greeted by our waitress, who was a little busy, but not overwhelmed. She seemed rather annoyed, and that just doesn't make for good service. An attitude adjustment might help.

Pete's Steak House will not disappoint unless you are looking for she she. By that I mean you come here for really good food, huge quantities, easy to share- in a dark bar and grill with an old world Italian feeling. It's a mixed crowd from blue collar to blue BMWs. But is is not the least bit fancy or... More
