A taste of Italy in Trenton

Had dinner with friends last night. I understand it is the only Italian restaurant left in the berg. The food was excellent. I had chicken, shrimp, and sweet Italian sausage with onions, peppers and potatoes. I have had the same dish a few years ago and it was better than ever. Everyone else... read more

Recently had lunch at Amici Milano in the Chambersburg section of Trenton. This is the last of the restaurants in the old Italian area called 'The Burg". Food and service were both excellent. Both of us had fish luncheon specials with a special house salad. Both were outstanding, Service was outstanding but not bothersome. Prices were very reasonable. Jimmy K... More

Amici Milano is a tasty trip down memory lane. Hundreds of little lights glint, and framed awards decorate the walls. Waitresses dressed in black and white call you "sweetie" and wait patiently while people choose what to order from the huge menu. Or you can just make it up, and order chicken Cacciatore, with chicken that includes the bones, like... More

Since I am not local to the area, I was given the historic tour of the burg by an old friend. We ended up at Amici's as the owners were known to my friend. It was really great atmosphere. Old school, classy, known patrons and most tables knew the other. One big community affair. Such places you can be rest... More

A hidden treasure in the city of Trenton. Ample parking lots, cozy warm, and inviting atmosphere. Beautifully decorated; outstanding Italian and American dishes. One of best finds is Amici's Special Salad...can't have enough of this great salad--extremely fresh ingredients, great presentation and really, really good. Very attentive wait staff and very welcoming owners.

Nice people and great food, you feel like family when eating there. I have only been here for lunch, which is scary, I can not imagine what it is like after dark. Not much parking available on street, abandoned buildings across the street.

This restaurant use to be a gem in the Chambersburg Italian section of Trenton, however, it has gone down hill in recent years.

The owner Jimmy is a wonderful caring person along with his wife Sharon. Great place to have dinner along with a delifghtful atomsphere. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The only drawback about Amici's is the location. You must be aware of the surrounding unsafe area. The parking lots are within walking distance but walking in... More
