Wonderful lunch

I was in the area and decided to stop in Amici for lunch. I'm very glad hat I did as well. I had the lunch special which was a sea bass stuffed with crab. It was absolutely perfect under $15.

Ordered some lunch for a going away party at work today and was so excited because I hadn't gone there since I moved away. I ordered and then picked it up and brought it back to work. The food was ready to go and I was in and out in no time. I had the Filet Mignon sandwich with their... More

It's fine if you're in the area, but I'm not sure I'd make a special trip. This is a pleasant, very old-fashioned restaurant, but with moderate prices. I had their zuppa di pesce, which isn't on the menu--the server mentioned it because I asked what's the best seafood they have--and it was quite tasty and fresh, with lots and lots... More

This Chambersburg restaurant features authentic Italian dining. We went recently to hear a friend perform (live music during much of the year on Tuesday evenings). The place was full, but our waitress was still friendly and caring. I had one of the specials, a meat lasagna -- simply magnifique! My son had the Chicken Marsala, which I tasted, and I... More

Cheese on everything. Mushrooms, clams, salad. Food is good but order without the cheese! Veal and peppers are exceptional.

Had dinner with friends last night. I understand it is the only Italian restaurant left in the berg. The food was excellent. I had chicken, shrimp, and sweet Italian sausage with onions, peppers and potatoes. I have had the same dish a few years ago and it was better than ever. Everyone else enjoyed their dinner. Very extensive menu and... More

Recently had lunch at Amici Milano in the Chambersburg section of Trenton. This is the last of the restaurants in the old Italian area called 'The Burg". Food and service were both excellent. Amici Milano is a tasty trip down memory lane. Hundreds of little lights glint, and framed awards decorate the walls. Waitresses dressed in black and white call you "sweetie" and wait patiently while people choose what to order from the huge menu. Or you can just make it up, and order chicken Cacciatore, with chicken that includes the bones, like... More

Since I am not local to the area, I was given the historic tour of the burg by an old friend. We ended up at Amici's as the owners were known to my friend. It was really great atmosphere. Old school, classy, known patrons and most tables knew the other. One big community affair. Such places you can be rest... More
