There are not many high end restaurants in Toms River, but this one is very good. Food is very tasty and well prepared and service is excellent. They have a very nice early bird dinner, and quite a few specials to the regular menu. This is a great restaurant in Ocean County.

I have eaten at Villa Amalfi twice in the past 3 months. Both times the food was very good. The service is excellent - the waiters know exactly what they are doing. The bus staff, water, bread, etc. is also peerless - these guys are well-trained. The focaccia bread is to die for! If they put cheese on top, this... More

Villa Amalfi is a gem of a restaurant in Toms River. Traditional Italian food not found in most restaurants. Very clean and attentive staff. Full bar, no byob. You will not be disappointed here!

The best Italian, Steak and Chop restaurant in Ocean County, New Jersey. A wide variety of items on a large menu moderately priced, with great specials. Excellent lunch and early bird special menu's up-to 5:00P.M. Monday thru Thursdays. A full service bar is always available. Large and small party's are welcome. This is a place to enjoy great food in... More

I had my retirement dinner with my family and friends at the Villa Amalfi in Toms River, NJ in October, 2013. It was the best Italian festive dinner that welcomed my retirement better. Although sad to leave after serving 27 years, I was excited to enjoy the final dinner. Villa Amalfi concierge and staff made my dinner most welcome and... More

From the second we entered the door we should have turned around. No one greeted us and when we were approached we were told "we have a liquor license". When we were finally shown to a table, we didn't receive menus for 15 minutes. Another 20 minutes went by before we were approached for our order. The bread finally arrived... More

A beautiful setting for a birthday celebration. White tablecloths, well-trained wait staff and an eclectic menu. For those whose choice is not Italian (but very good) the rack of lamb and osso buco are delicious.
