From the old place on route 9 to the new location / WOW !! The Brooklyn family continues to carry over a delicious meal. Enjoy the night out, Don't expect to be feed in 10 minutes , if so , go to a diner and eat. Reservations a must on weekends. Always received a warm welcome, treated us like family... More

Last week we made reservations for a table of 8. We had such a great experience. We all tried different dinners, and not one of us was disappointed. Their cheese cake is to die for! The service was good and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a GEM in Toms River.

Had dinner today at their new location. Have yet to have a bad meal here. The staff here always makes us feel like family. Today we ordered the lasagna, pasta with little neck clams, and filet minion. All delicious! Next time you are in the area, give Brooklyn Bistro a try. And don't forget the homemade cheese cake

This place is Toms Rivers best kept secret! The outside may be rough around the edges but once you come through the door you will see how great the food and service really are. The food is homemade and authentic. My family and I have been here many times and every time the food is delicious. Try the Gnocchi Bolognese... More

After all the positive hype that this place got I decided to give it a try with my family. I called for reservations and we were led to believe that the restaurant was so busy that the staff was doing us a favor by getting me a table of 4 for a 5:30 reservation. We arrived and shared our experience... More

A hidden gem in Toms River. Not much to look like from the outside. Outstanding genuine southern Italian (not chicken parm). The Gnocchi Bolognese (ricotta not potato) and the Cavatelli with sausage and broccoli rabe are must haves. We had two special apps - rice balls and stuffed zucchini flowers. Very authentic. Excellent Cheesecake. BYO.

Nestled between an old repair garage and motel is a little Bistro which will delight your palate AND your pocketbook. An unlikely find along the Route 9/Lakewood Road drive and just at the Church Road traffic light finds a family owned eatery. The Brooklyn Bistro brings authentic Brooklyn style flavors to our shore community in Toms River. After Hurricane Sandy,... More
