Gluten free was solid but GF pizza only okay

Went here in a group who was anxious to dig into the various gluten free items. We are connoisseurs in this department. The gf mozzarella sticks were awesome. The gf veal parm was awesome. The breaking on both these items was great and had flavor. However, the gf pizza crust wasn't great. It wasn't... read more

First stop on our vegan tour of the mid-coast of New Jersey. Stopped here the first night late on a Thursday. Got there a half hour before they closed but they served us as graciously. One vegan, one vegetarian, and two omnivores were all happy and well-fed at the same place. Vegan had baked ziti with lots of melty vegan... More

Wow an extensive gluten free menu and many options the gluten lovers. Pasta dishes, both GF and regular excelled in quality, taste and portions. My wife had leftovers for two lunches. The Gnocchi were excellent, as was the chicken pizza . The only miss was the GF cake. It was dry, maybe because it was vegan as well? Service team... More

The wait was a long time..In fact walk ins (non reservation), sat down and were served, ate, and left. I mentioned to the server that it seem... More

Cute little pizzeria/italian restaurant right across the street from the Ramada. It is a BYOB, which is nice. Food was delicious and portions were good sized. We did wait a little long for the food, but they were a bit busy so we expected it. Overall very satisfied.

My family was hosting a small party at the beach. We wanted to cook as little as possible and enjoy our company. My sister suggested Via Roma for their delicious food. We were not let down. Delicious apps and sandwiches that made the gathering less stressful and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

order take out occasionally, food is always good and prices are decent. I have noticed the calzones get smaller over the years. they used to fit corner to corner in a large pizza box.

Finding a restaurant with really good food is always a challenge in this area of Lakewood/Toms River, especially if you need vegetarian and vegan options. We decided to try Via Roma on our last visit and were happy to see that it did offer plenty for vegans as well as vegetarians--even providing Earth Balance as a non-dairy alternative to butter.... I should start by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed my first meal at Via Roma. I am mostly vegetarian and enjoy vegan, so the menu options and the quality of the food were truly impressive. My jaw actually dropped when I learned that they don't just serve some vegan/vegetarian and gluten free menu items, they actually offer an entire vegan/vegetarian/gluten... More
