My family was hosting a small party at the beach. We wanted to cook as little as possible and enjoy our company. My sister suggested Via Roma for their delicious food. We were not let down. Delicious apps and sandwiches that made the gathering less stressful and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

Great Italian food - close to the Ramada - awesome pizza! Friendly workers too - ordered 10 pies for our team.

order take out occasionally, food is always good and prices are decent. I have noticed the calzones get smaller over the years. they used to fit corner to corner in a large pizza box.

Finding a restaurant with really good food is always a challenge in this area of Lakewood/Toms River, especially if you need vegetarian and vegan options. We decided to try Via Roma on our last visit and were happy to see that it did offer plenty for vegans as well as vegetarians--even providing Earth Balance as a non-dairy alternative to butter.... I should start by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed my first meal at Via Roma. I am mostly vegetarian and enjoy vegan, so the menu options and the quality of the food were truly impressive. My jaw actually dropped when I learned that they don't just serve some vegan/vegetarian and gluten free menu items, they actually offer an entire vegan/vegetarian/gluten... More

When you come in, hostess immediately asks you which menu you want. Choices are regular, gluten free, dairy free. Which ever menu you choose, the food is excellent. The complementary salad is tops, it is so fresh, not like most restaurants, which usually has been sitting around all day. It tastes and looks like they just cut the vegetables for... More

We love the value of the early bird specials. The food is pretty good. A nice place not too far from home

This place has the best Veal Saltimbocca I've ever had. It's worth the wait. Whether you are dining in or calling ahead, please allow more than enough time. Service can be slow depending on when you dine but we still enjoy Paul, the owner's multiple selections for all many appetites. From Gluten-free to vegan to good ole slices of pizza,... More

We had the vegan vegetable rollatini, which was absolutely delicious. I had also ordered the vegan chk'n Marsala accompanied with penne pasta, as well as vegan garlic bread. The Marsala sauce did not have an overpowering taste; instead, it had both a smooth texture and delicate flavor. Overall, every thing we had ordered was perfectly seasoned without being overly salty.... More

Best part about Via Roma is all of the vegetarian and vegan options they offer on top of their regular menu. It is SO difficult to find places that can accommodate vegans/vegetarians and those who are not. This place does this perfectly! The prices are very reasonable as you can get anything from a slice of pizza to a 3-course... More
