Italian with a French Accent

Unlike most of the reviews here, my friends and I went to A Little Bite of Italy for dinner last week, after relaxing following the annual LBI House Tour (wonderful!). Everyone in the group loved the restaurant - except me. Now, I had just had a wisdom tooth pulled the week before and I think the... read more

We ordered a salami with provolone sandwich with lettuce tomato and oil and vinegar on ciabatta. The bread was wonderful, the sandwich was delicious. We will definitely find back. The pizzas looked good too

Stopped on the way back from the beach and picked up 4x Italian hoagies, 1x Meatball parm + 1x Tuna (yes we had a crew!) The staff were friendly, quick and courteous. The hoagies were delicious. The restaurant looked and smelled wonderful! We will have to go back for fresh pasta.

We picked up 2 14" hoagies (Italian and Tuna) on Sunday and just finished the last one today, Weds... they stayed fresh for so long and were delicious. We got 4 meals out of each one! The Italian market items look yummy, will have to go back for fresh pasta.

Good deli and decent food but limited menu and expensive due to a prix fixe setup with a few choices at their prix fixe price of $38 for 3 courses with most decent offerings having substantial surcharges of $11 or MORE. small and warm with limited AC so it was uncomfortable. better off sticking to this place for their excellent... An excellent restaurant and the culinary Everest of Long Beach Island. Although the name is “A Little Bite of Italy,” the chef is French. Having lived in France for a year, I was delighted by how authentically French this restaurant is. This charming restaurant captures the spirit of a small French restaurant in every sense. Fresh, creative cuisine and an... More

Thanks to Chef Francis Pons and his wife Debra, owners of A Little Bite of Italy, LBI has a gourmet restaurant worthy of 5 stars. Vacationers and locals alike can savor excellent Mediterranean/French food in a casual, intimate setting without being rushed out the door. The service is first-rate. On Friday of Memorial Day weekend, Debra greeted my family and... More

I have had many memorable and wonderful experiences here. The location is perfect - very close to our beach house. The ambiance is charming and very comfortable. All of the food is magnificent. They make the best hoagies on the island!!! For dinner, it's a prix fixe arrangement - 3 generous courses for $39/person....a real bargain for this quality of... More

Bottom line is the food is very good. But that's not the only reason you go out to eat. We expect to be pampered and served in a way that makes us feel special. While the experience ended up nicely, it just started so bizarrely that I have to comment. The owner Debra waited on us initially. The only menu... More
