I work in Surf City and love to have breakfast at Wally's. After Sandy they have remodeled and the inside looks great! Always get a great meal!

Staff was so rude, they actually faught over who was going to take the tables Becuse none of them wanted to work. They must close at 1:00.. We saw them turn away 5 families . I'm thinking the owner was not there. Horrible just horrible save your money or spend it somewhere else.

We came to Wally Mitchell's on two occasions. Eggs were decent, oatmeal very bland, service quick but very unfriendly! They redecorated and looks very cute inside now. Bright and cheery....too bad I can't say the same for the waitstaff.

We always go to this spot when we are in Surf City, not sure what happened this last time, but the service was so slow and it took us over 40 minutes to get our breakfast. Then, when breakfast came, the waitress apologized that she forgot to put in one of the breakfasts that was ordered. She ended up comping... More

My husband took our kids there for breakfast this past weekend and the first thing the hostress/waitress said was that strollers were not allowed. We put the stroller away and were trying to figure out whether it would be easier to sit in a booth or at a table when the hostess sniped to the waitress next to her, "I... More

Had breakfast at Wally Mitchells. Nothing to write home about. Service was just OK, I was not offered a refill on my coffee. Potato was good, and good portion. Corn beef hash was straight out of a can. Friend's peach pancake was fluffy. Would like to have seen some biscuits with sausage gravy on the menu and at least one... More

we were fooled by the "voted best breakfast" sign on our way in, we didn't notice it was for "1996" until we left. The first clue to how bad this place was going to be was how empty it was at 7:30 am during peak season. Three older couples and our family were the only patrons. Our two egg sandwiches... More

We have been going to Wally's for over 20 years each summer. Breakfasts have been sumptious and delicious. Our recent visit was disappointing at best. I ordered the special omlete with moz cheese, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The omlete was paper thin (no i did not order a crepe) with a few bits of mushroom and a hint of cheese. Tomatoes... More
