Great Crabcakes

Not sure what else is good on the menu, but the lump crabmeat cakes were wonderful. We also had the whole belly clams which were on par. As others have said, limited seating, not much ambience but a pretty great meal at a fairly reasonable price. Again, highly recommend the crabcakes, we thought... read more

We were looking for the local experience and found it here. Extensive selection of seafood dishes. Staff was happy to explain to us newbies how to get the best meat out of the crabs. Not the place for a romantic dinner out, just no frills good food.

This is a market/eat-in/take out place. There is no fish odor in the shop, a lot of fresh seafood to choose from at the market. The restaurant menu is more limited, price is ok for a vacation town. Don't bring large group, the space is limited :).

We stopped in to have a look and decided to sit down and eat. Good thing we did! Young, fresh-faced kid waited on us... Great wait skills from this kid! Then the food... we had chowder, lobster roll, clams on the half shell, clam roll, steamers. Heavenly! Excellent, fresh, & tasty. Definitely recommend it to any and all. We will... More

If you are looking for the best crab cakes, you must have their premium crab cakes. Such a nice family place for dine in or take-out. Delicious!

Usually buy seafood here to prep at home. Very fresh and clean. No fish odor. Decided to eat in. Manhattan clam chowder. Cup $3.95. Bowl. $7.95. Great chunky with clams. Steamed little necks. Dozen for $9.99. Clams trip dinner $14.99 with two sides. Pass on the garlic bread. $4.95. Just not that good. Oysters. Raw clams. A lot more. Many... More

I lived on LBI for the summer and when my boyfriend came to visit we were looking for somewhere nice to go with good seafood that didn't cost $40 for each of us. This was perfect! The waitresses were very nice and although they switched shifts half way through our visit they were clear on what was going on and... More

I didn't sit down and eat, just to be clear up front. But I did take out three days of my week on LBI and it was the highlight of the week. I did the large shrimp/prawns, top neck clams, and oysters. I steamed the shrimp for three minutes then put them on ice. While they cooled, I melted a... More

We have had take-out from this restaurant on several occassions. They are very reasonably priced, very friendly and attentive. One of our favorites is the "Bucket of Crabs" they come in 3 pound paper buckets & are great when serving a big family. I must also note that of the many times we have ordered they have always gotten out... More
