If you like ethnic food but are tired of Chinese and Italian, try this small, family-run Persian place. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly.

Went here for dinner on Saturday night. Should have known to walk away from the get go when it took 15minutes for the waiter to get us water. The food was pretty good, but the whole evening was ruined by the waiter who claimed they were short staffed..which sounded familiar because the last time I was here they said the... More

We decide to order a quick bite to go after work while we waited for our car into the city. Our car was late so we ate our food on an outside table while we waited. A rude man, can't call him a gentleman, came to our table and said we could not eat there. We ordered to go and... More

Visited the restaurant on a week night with voucher. Birthday dinner. Rude from the beginning. No one was in the restaurant, but they were picky about the table we sat at (worse ones in the place). Order rec'ed was wrong. 18% tip was added for a party of 2 (they say for parties of 5). Never checked to see how... More

A bit different; continually improving over past few years. Nice outdoor dining. Good place to share plates to taste the variety of Persian cuisine offered.

We just returned from a dinner out at Summit's Negeen Restaurant, which was open on a Monday, a rarity in the burbs. We like different foods so decided to try this Persian restaurant with an interesting menu. Other than one couple who ate outside, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our table was not ready, so we waited... More

I have eaten here a few times and each time the service was very good snd we enjoyed our meals. The filet mignon shish kabobs were delicious that came with the balsmati rice. This is a byob restaurant and they also have outside dining. They don't have air conditioning so it's best to plan accordingly.

We came for Saturday lunch (beautiful June day); there was not another customer in the restaurant. We had to argue with the woman for the table by the window. She wanted to seat us in the middle of the restaurant which was fairly close to the large round table in back occupied by the owner’s family and children. As I... More

I would have to agree with the MAJORITY of reviewers and say I can't wait for them to go out of business so something good can go in there. My friend had a groupon. I would think restaurants offer groupon discounts to get new customers. Well, they lost me. First of all, they charged for bread and didn't tell us.I... More

While working in Summit, NJ, we had already picked up some wraps at another restaurant, but on a hunch on the way back to the office we stopped at Negeen Persian Grill to pick up some hummus to go. The verdict: the warm hummus with olive oil we enjoyed from Negeen Persian Grill is "World Class" - think "Abu Ghosh"... More
