Reliable Italian

Leveraged another writer's title....fits perfectly - reliable Italian. Torn between rating of average and very good but went with very good for the overall experience. Ordered shrimp scampi on lunch menu during lunch time, which lists as $14.95. Then I was charged $26 for this lunch dish. When I inquired about the reason, the girl who placed order said they charged dinner price for lunch on Sundays. There were total 6 shrimps in this dish, which is not even dinner portion at all. How could... More

The night started well - staff was friendly and the appetizer sampler platter was good. But the main dish was very dissapointing. I had the sausage sandwich, which I left half eaten. The flavors of the sauce and the sausages were at odds with each other, not very tasty. My friend described the marinara on his pasta as tasting like... More

Location was convenient and food was good. Service was quick and price reasonable. They are interested in turning tables over so they make money and you are in and out without feeling too rushed.

Marco Polo has been around for awhile, but I was recently there with my family on New Years Eve. The food was what you would expect in terms of offering the standards. But, more important, they did a good job with those dishes. We took our young (and picky eating) children and everyone came out happy. I should also note... More

This restaurant has been around for YEARS and is very consistent and reliable. The atmosphere hasn't changed and it could use a good year 2000 update, but the good is prepared well and you get a good amount for your money.

This appeared to be a quaint local italian place we went to as a family. It had a typical red sauce italian menu, a lively bar scene and an attentive and friendly staff. However , Once we were eating somewhat tasty food we noticed large patches of mold on the ceiling tiles and the vents. We lost our appetite Immediately

After attending a nearby crafts show we went online to look for a good restaurant in the area, and were directed to Marco Polo. Not easy to spot and parking is around the back. But, once you are inside the dining experience is very special. The four of us shared some appetizers and soup. Best onion soup ever, lots of... More

Thgis is a red tomato sauce place that will satify the whole family. The Italian wedding soup is the best around, with lots of tiny meatballs floating in an exellent broth. The main courses range from pizza and meatball subs to excellent chicken and veal dishes. There's something for everyione.
