Good food, nice place

We've been here a few times for lunch. The lunch menu including the specials gives you an array of choices, all very good. We had dinner with friends here and we all enjoyed it very much. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered chicken, fish and pastas dishes for dinner. The food was properly... read more

This cozy Italian trattoria has a special place in my heart as it was within walking distance of our house in Summit when we lived there in 98/99 AND it was where my 18 year old discovered tiramisu which he still enjoys. We caught up with an old friend here on a return visit down memory lane. The food was... More

This charming little trattoria with sidewalk tables in downtown Summit was a perfect spot for a casual, spontaneous dinner. In business for decades, its classic Italian menu has plenty of pasta and pizza offerings, as well as varied meat-focused main courses. I chose the ricotta-stuffed ravioli in red sauce that tasted straight out of

We were invited to a christening luncheon here and the food was very good. Served family style, the food kept coming and coming: very good bolognese, eggplant rollatini, chicken saltimbocca. BYOB. Cute setting with lots of murals on the walls. The only negative: the flat screen TV in the dining room. Distracting and not necessary considering they play nice background... More

This beautifully designed small restaurant in downtown Summit feels like walking into my Italian grandmother's kitchen. The aromas are fantastic and the varied selection of dinner choices are all wonderful. It is a fun restaurant for the entire family and also does a great take-out business.

We ate at the LaPastaria for dinner three nights in a row while staying at the DeBary Inn, two short blocks away. The food is delicious, prices reasonable, and selection wonderful! The soups and salads were especially good. The pasta dishes were plentiful and scrumptious. The waiter and entire staff were friendly and offered great service. The first night, it... More

Had attended a repast yesterday at La Pastaria in Summit. Had never been there before. There was a large crowd, where they didn't know how many to expect. They accommodated us beautifully. The food was top-notch. The small wait-staff worked their butts off to keep everything bussed & served properly. They did not rush us, nor were they inattentive. Everything... More

Used this restaurant for a family gathering following a funeral. They were unable to seat us all in one room, so unfortunately people had to go from room to room to "visit." The service was above average, as was the food. I think I would think twice before contracting with them for a large party, but probably fine for lunch... More

We had a few meals here 5-8 years ago.......great linguini and clam sauce. All other meals below average; same with the management. Tried it again this week - very disappointed. Red sauce over spiced, not fresh tasting. Pasta overcooked, sticky. Chicken ariabiata mushy and oily; was it pre-cooked? We were with a party of 8; waiters cleared peoples plates as... More
