i like the atmosphere, food good but nothing too special

you get the feel like this place will have killer fish when you walk in. The casual, beachy atmosphere is nice. the mismatched tables and chairs and the fun signs and tshirts they sell. But they were "out of lobster roll" at 1pm and the food was hit or miss. My clam po boy was very flavorful but... read more

We had three sets of guests to entertain, which is why we ate there three evenings. Quahog's food doen't hit it 100% of the time, but it ranks in the high nineties. We love the porch even in a downpour. Hint: with children go early; with adults go after 7:30, it is quieter

Our entire family loves coming to quahog every summer. Is a great seafood restaurant in a very relaxed atmosphere. appetizers we had the shrimp taquitos(excellent), the steam clams(great), the mussels(like the chorizo in it),the chips and guacamole(does not last 5 minutes at our table), for entrees we had the branzino(is the whole fish don't forget to eat the cheeks), the... They do not have the full menu at lunch but what they did was quite okay - nothing great. Service was very cheerful and overall a good place for a quick bite.

We always make it a point to dine here when at the shore and we are never disappointed. Our server was prompt, helpful, knowledgable about the restaurant and very pleasant. We started with oysters they were plump, bright, and nice and cold. They were a little steep but that is the case everywhere here. We really enjoyed the octopus skewers.... More

Just walked out of dinner, and am pretty disappointed. I ordered the Surf and Turf. The lobster was just ok, but the steak was what set me off. I ordered the steak Medium, and I got raw. So, I told the waiter, and he took it back. When he brought it back, it was dressed up with potatoes and salad.... More

Ordered the Pacu ribs and the fisherman's stew for lunch. The stew was excellent, if a little salty. The ribs were a little ammonia-ish, but I guess that's what you get when you're serving fish from the amazon that needs to be frozen. Coconut rice was nice. Service was friendly and decor was pleasant and not overly crowded with a... More

This is one of Stone Harbor's gems. Although there are no reservations and no liquor license, the food is everything and delicious it is.

Been in town a few months, finally tried this place. The people there are very good at welcoming customers and making your meal a good experience. I had the Seafood Stew and my wife had the Branzino. Both were something to write home about. And our server was cheerful and engaging. Too bad they close for the winter. I can't... More

Frequent Quahog's at least 2-3 times each season and always enjoy the food. I finally got up the courage to order the Pacu ribs which were amazing! Can't wait to order that again. Our favorites are the Fisherman's stew over coconut rice and the Tuna & watermelon ceviche. So delicious and so very different. I have to agree with one... More
