Looking forward to dinner with friends on the 4th. Had been before several years ago and enjoyed, so looked forward to going back. Service was awful. Ordered fish and chips which was coated in horrible thick coating and was incredibly greasy! Best part of the meal was the company.

The flavors were wonderful. This is not a meal you will get anywhere else. We had steamed clams in broth with onions and red peppers. Chickpea salad was yummy and brought before our appetizer. We ordered BBQ Pacu Pacu Fish Rib Dinner and Moquena (fisherman stew). The fish rib was so much like traditional ribs. Th orange BBQ sauce did... More

The truffle fries were good. My son had a lobster roll, and I had a arugula salad and scallops on a carrot puree and we really liked our meals. My husband and son shared a fisherman's stew and found the seafood overcooked. The clam chowder should have been sent back. There was probably one clam in a very sweet potato... More

Our waitress was great. We were there with friends and were shocked by the prices and the limited menu. My husband and I shared the clam bake which came with a variety of over cooked clams, some shrimp, a delicious red skinned potato and a mushy ear of corn. The clam chowder was good as were the appetizers of fried... More

Cute catchy beachy atmosphere. We've been dying to try for a couple of yrs just bc we love quahogs and seafood! Had nothing to do with it being on DDD. Service was mediocre to poor, food was ok. Price was meh, typical for this area. I'm sad bc I really wanted to like it but we truly hated everything we... More

We heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so maybe our expectations were a bit high. The food was good - not great. Service was very good - not great. no ambiance but it was not expected. The prices for every item on the somewhat limited menu was way overpriced. The daily pasta special had a very small... More

After watching about this restaurant on the Food Channel and reading the reviews, we tried Quahog's for the first time last night. Atmosphere is OK, but the food we had was awful. We both got the Crab Cakes, which were terrible, and the Old Bay fries, which were limp and tasteless, and the Cole slaw, which was just OK. Also, we... More

Great food but the prices are a little high. Loved the seafood pasta special from may. Only wish they had a sign to let out of towners know they are byob. Bummed when we found out after arriving and everyone wanted cocktails. Otherwise it was great and our service was supper attentive.

First, the service at Quahog was deplorable. We had to ask multiple people several times for almost everything (ice, more water, additional cocktail sauce, additional lemon slices, etc.). Some of the food was OK, but I wouldn't say that any of it was really good. The clam chowder was tasty but more like clam bisque - disappointingly few "chunks" of... More

We decided to visit this restaurant during a recent stay in Avalon, NJ. I have mixed feelings about it. Except for their wine it is BYOB, they charge about $25/bottle but we decided to forgo that. They have a strawberry lemonade that our friends liked, I had just iced tea. Two of us had the clam chowder and liked it,... More
