Good choice "down the shore"

I'll start by saying, I am not a big fan of most of the restaurants at the shore. Most are over priced for less than stellar food. So, Quahog is probably one of the better finds. We took a day trip to Stone Harbor last week. We decided on dinner here after some great reviews. We had a delicious dinner, hubby had the fish tacos, I had the salmon. Yes the chickpea starter they give you was yummy. We were too stuffed to get dessert. Oh, I loved the music, played songs from the 80's. We... More

We've been wanting to come for a long time. Visited during the week at the beginning of fall for dinner at 5pm. No long lines. Cod potato fritters were great. Their chickpea dish starter was fresh and tasty. Had the pacu fish ribs which were their specialty. They give you carafes of water and iced tea. Would definitely come back... More

Casual beach decor in both the indoor and patio space. Very unique menu everything that came from the kitchen looked delicious. I had the best whole bronzino I have ever had. My husband had the seafood gumbo equally good. Service was great, staff friendly. BYOB and reservations accepted.

Heard this was really good, read reviews, etc. but we were rather disappointed. My husband and I had the shrimp platter. The shrimp were small, tailless, like you might get at a fast food place. The corn on the cob was way over cooked and soggy. Cole slaw was tasteless. On the other hand, two others in our party were... More

You might be hesitant because it looks like a little take out shack but don't be fooled. Bigger inside and nicely appointed. Linens. And an outside patio in the way back. It's BYO. The fish dishes are excellent! All of them. We stayed in town 2 nights and ate here both times. Very Good!

The food here is unbelievable. It is so unique and delicious! I have seen things on the menu that I have never seen before and it was so fun trying new things. Definitely make a reservation as the space is small and super popular.

We went to Quahog twice in the past month. We really like the food! the Moqueca stew is my favorite. I love the seasoning and the variety of fish it contains. Others had the Pacu ribs, the seasonal salad, the fish cake ( a special- think it was smoked trout --my sister loved it) and the Fish tacos. Yummmm. you... More

We finally got to go to Quahog's when we were in Cape May. My neighbors back home raved about it. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the lobster seafood platter. We also had the calamari and ahi tuna apps. Everything was tasty and portions were good for shore prices. We also were told to try the Red... More

Went for lunch on a Friday. Not many people eating lunch but it was a hot day and everyone was probably on the beach! Casual eatery with interesting seafood dishes. My husband ordered the fish ribs on the recommendation of a friend. They look just like BBQ ribs. Good but slightly fishy tasting. I had the seafood empanadas. They were... More
