Where to begin… The Stirling Hotel is one of my favorite restaurants! I am a pescatarian, which means I do not eat any meat but do eat fish and sometimes I have a hard time when I go out to eat, because selection is limited, but this restaurant has so many options for me! I LOVE their Caprese Sandwich, they... More

I especially love the Stirling Hotel's back patio for its relaxed & rustic ambience. I'm always amazed by their fresh seasonal offerings. Looking forward to going next Monday for more live music on the patio & another great meal.

30 min wait turned into over one hour...totally not worth it food was sub par and service was horrible. Don't go better off going to the stage house in scotch plains, better food service and live music.

Horrible unreliable service. Food comes cold when it's supposed to be hot and the waitress did the disappearing act. When we finally got the manager's attention he could not have cared less. Rundown. Salads small and not crispy. Burgers not flavorful or juicy. Limp sweet potato fries. No ambience. Go elsewhere. Lame excuse for a restaurant.

I've been talking this place up for years, and nobody has even been disappointed! What looks like a typical burger and beer joint turns out to have surprisingly great food, especially if you order from the daily specials. Yes, you can get your typical bar food (The Tavern Burger is a standout, as well as their take on an Italian... More

Parking is limited to the street but this little spot is worth it Finding a spot. Ambience is eclectic but fun. Great beer selection. I had a great sandwhich with roasted peppers, pesto and mozzarella on a baguette. Little chips on the side were delicious too.

My son works in Stirling. He has been here before. This was my first experience. It is easy to miss from the front, but go to the side street where the parking is and you know this place is a center of attraction. We literally had to park a block away. The parking lot was full, and parking on the... More

stopped in on a Sunday after a day of softball. What a pleasant surprise..Staff was very friendly, and the service was on spot. Great comfort food, and that is even the slogan on their shirts! For a Sunday night, the place was packed, which is a great sign as well. Would make it a local stop if we lived closer,... More

When we want to feel uplifted we head off to the Stirling Hotel which is just a restaurant with a huge selection ofbdestination- level beers and an excellent chef. The atmosphere is fun. We always try to sit in the bar area where you can just absorb the energy. It's very informal so everyone is very relaxed. Out back in... More

Went for a holiday lunch with son, brother-in-laws and nephews…..Service was good, food was very good and beers were great. Had the tavern burger….simply great. My brother-in-law raved about his reuben sandwich…which was huge… not Kelly's huge but very big none the less. Will return when in area.
