Much better than another chain restaurant!

The waiters wear t shirts that say "Chain restaurants are for ...-" Thank goodness for Salt because this area is just flooded with bad chain restaurants. I got the Salt burger. Hubby got the fish and chips. Both came with the salt fries. This was just good food done right. Simple food cooked just... read more

Unusual decor and menu. All the food is fantastic. Ask the wait staff for their recommendations. I had pecan encrusted salmon and it was superb.

I hate to say it, but the food at Salt doesn't seem to be what it once was. I gave it 3 stars just because the wait staff was trying so hard. The waiter was great. Pleasant and accommodating, but he can't cook the food too. We used to love the food here. In the past, the food had been... More

I had heard and read some good things about Salt, so my friend and I decided to try it. Be aware that the parking lot is not large enough; if you don't get there on the early side, I'm not sure where you can park once the lot is full. We had reservations for 6 pm on a Friday and... More

We have already been to Salt a few times and have enjoyed the food, the menu is creative. Last night was late, stopping on the way home from the airport after a delayed flight. It is nice to have a restaurant in the area whose kitchen is open until 11 on Friday and Saturday nights. The real treat of last... More

Don't let the outside fool you, it doesn't look like much but it is worth trying. My wife and I have been here twice and had great meals both times. We can recommend the salmon and skirt steak. Also, the goat cheese croquettes were excellent. Beer selection is great and we tried the chimay triple.

Have been here twice now and food was great both times. Ordered some of the same items second time and they were just as good as the first time. Love the fact that food can be ordered to your own taste. The risotto has mushrooms, no problem getting it without mushrooms and it is delicious. As is the salmon with... More

I went on business trip to the area. A coworker recommended this place for a low-key dinner. It was excellent. I highly recommend the chicken, bacon, cheddar dip. I couldn't get enough of it! We went on Monday and they have an "Off the Menu" special which is what I ordered. It was great food and service was great. Didn't... More

I had read great things about this place but am sorry to say we were very disappointed. First off, parking is horrible. We got there on a Friday night about 7:30 pm and could not get a spot in the lot. We ended up parking at the shopping center lot across the street. I had called ahead (probably just 45-60... More

This used to be our favorite restaurant, but I'm sad to say the standards are dropping. Service is fine, drinks are fine, even dessert is fine...but the food is no longer amazing. The chicken paprikash used to be to die for..now it's always watery with overcooked rubbery chicken. Wings had almost no sauce on them last time, just overcooked fried... More
