food was okay, but the decor felt like I was in a nursing home. The best part was being so close to the beach and having a wonderful view of the ocean!

Salads and were very good, clean restaurant and good prices. The waitresses and hostesses need to be a little more friendly and attentive . all in all I would highly recommend.

We dined at the Breakers Restaurant in August, having been there once before many years ago. The dining rooms still looks the same, which is not a bad thing - this is a classic formal restaurant. If you are dining as a couple, take note that all the tables with direct ocean views are for larger parties, and there were... More

I took advantage of early bird specials; great meal and reasonable prices. Suggest a reservation at 5 to 530 time frame.

I guess we most be out of the norm, because most of the reviews totally contridict our experience except one review from May 2013. Which almost mirrors ours and we didnt know until after we wrote. We felt that it had an Old stuffy menu as was the atmosphere. The restaurant had hardly any patrons at 6 pm and we... More

The entrees we ordered were two different fish from the chef's specials both crusted, but both were over crusted and one was drowning in sauce. The side of mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe were very good. The small side salad was overloaded with grated cheese - it would have been nice to add some seasonal vegetables since we are in... More

If you can grab a seat on the porch overlooking the ocean, it's a nice place to go for a cocktail (many are $10.00 ea) and appetizer (not cheap - cheese and crackers was $14.00). But it's one of the few places in the area that overlooks the ocean so I guess you pay for the view. They often have... More

I basically will repeat what I said in my hotel review: great food and great service. I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster tails, and my wife had brussel sprout ravioli. We loved what we had, and as I said, the service was highly organized and attentive.

Please see our review of the hotel. The restaurant is fabulous and foodies will love it! From the well appointed dining room, the highly professional wait staff, to the well thought-out wine list this restaurant leaves little to be desired. Fine food has returned to the New Jersey shore!
