amazing buffet

we came here for my grandads wake, may i say the service was amazing and the buffet was out of this world. All the food was homemade. would definatly recommend this pub. i myself work in a a la carte resturant and this looked and tasted far better. well done to all that had input.

Always love to visit The Bridge and this was no exception. The weather added to the experience but the real high point was the sirloin steak. Cooked to perfection. Simply the best steak I have had in years. The service was a little slow and it didn't seem overly busy but I'd still return in a flash and advise you... More

Evening meal, partner had beef pie with mash and veg. Massive portion. I had seafood pancake with salad and hand cut chips. Massive crispy pancake....not much filling and burnt in parts. This was acknowledged in half price reduction for that meal. All said a lovely restaurant overlooking a river with quaint flower tubs adorning outside seating area. Would eat there... More

We were staying in a beautiful cottage nearby and only ventured out one evening and due to lots of fab reviews in the cottages visitors book choose to come here. It was dark and through lots of narrow lanes but we found it. The menu was varied but didn't prepare you for the wonderful meal that was placed in front... More

Visited here on recommendation and were not disappointed. Arrived on a busy Sunday lunchtime and staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was superb, the best pub roast we have had.

We ate here twice during a recent stay in the village. The pub is great, very cosy and welcoming. The owner recognised us from popping in earlier in the day for a quick drink when we returned for dinner and was very welcoming and very interested to hear about our stay in the area. The food was really good. The... More

Visited the pub recently while on a long weekend in Wales and went on recommendation so popped over the border and had the best tasting Sunday Roast from a pub ever. The staff were polite, friendly and keen to provide a good service. Highly recommend this place and if I had needed accommodation I would have felt confident staying there... More

First trip in our camper van and couldn't have wished to be in a better place. Glynn very welcoming and couldn't have done more for us - arrived on Friday to a very warm welcome. Ate in the pub on Friday night and as others have described the food is outstanding. Camping is good and while we were there, changes... More

We have enjoyed a few meals here now and all have been good, usually dinner at the end of a working day. Good choice and good selection of wine etc. Always a warm welcome and friendly staff. Really nice atmosphere. I highly recommend. Can not comment on outdoor seating etc as have only been in cold/wet weather. However the location... More
