We have enjoyed a few meals here now and all have been good, usually dinner at the end of a working day. Good choice and good selection of wine etc. Always a warm welcome and friendly staff. Really nice atmosphere. I highly recommend. Can not comment on outdoor seating etc as have only been in cold/wet weather. However the location... More

Booked a table for 15 of us to celebrate our family holiday and it was perfect! Beautiful location and friendly staff and then there was the food. Absolutely lip smackingly tasty! My husbands venison was fantastically rich. I had the bridge burger which was wonderful and huge! Child portions were devoured by even the littlest among us. There wasn't a... More

On a cold Feb evening, what better than the most wonderful beef and bacon and local ale pie - good to look at, even better to eat! Too filling to even contemplate nice sounding puds.

Have visited this pub now about 5 time for lunch. Always warm with good service with fine ales. Food is good with excellent vegetables which are steamed and piping hot. My only comment is the mess of bins as you approach the pub with boxes lying around is poor and shows a lack of care which could be fixed /... More

I found this pub on Tripadvisor when looking for a rendezvous for 8 of us who travelled in 3 cars from Oxfordshire to spend a weekend in Wales, celebrating my wife Wendy's birthday. Wendy was a bit reticent as the pub is described as have a campsite attached to it. The contents of the campsite when we visited was a... More

My girlfriend and I decided to come here for dinner after seeing several excellent reviews in the guestbook at our holiday cottage, and certainly weren't disappointed. The pub is located in a beautiful riverside setting, and offers a host of traditional pub classics together with altogether more adventurous options. I went for the Bridge Burger, which saw a generous beef... More

made very welcome by Glyn the landlord with dog allowed in the bar. Superb food, big portions. Venison Bourginion was amazing with piping hot well cooked vegetables. The southern fried chicken was really good too. In winter roaring log fires and in summer plenty of outside eating space by the river. Will definitlley be back hopefully with some friends to...
