The proximity to Villagers Theater makes this a great spot. Even without that, it would still be a terrific place. Good food, fair pricing, a wide selection of beer as well as a charming and helpful wait staff. Lunch specials make this a good mid day stop as well. The music does have a tendency to get REALLY LOUD on... More

Many nights it's hard to find a spot to park. Weekends there's live entertainment, and it's packed. Football season they run specials, the service is usually always good, and the food is great. The appetizer menu all by itself can make for great dining.

I'm a fan of supporting local restaurants. The atmosphere is fun though loud so if you're looking to have a conversation, this isn't necessarily the venue. There are some quiet spots if you have your pick. Food is about average.

Loud place even in the modest living room of the old house that was the center of the former colonial farms restaurant. Party of some retiring person totally insensitive to the fact that others in the room might have wanted to converse. Rather ordinary food but a stuffed squid dish was surprisingly better than expected following a prosaic and dreary... More

We first stopped by the Stage House Tavern quite by accident on our drive-through annual road trip from Montreal to the Outerbanks in NC (return trip takes us to NJ on the first leg back). After driving many hours with pitiful snacks along the way, we look forward to a great meal with a glass of cold something or other.... More

Restaurant is huge, informal, food is average. Young wait staff is pleasant and eager to please. Nothing outstanding. Outdoor seating in warm weather is a nice feature.

This can quickly become your favorite resturant in the Franklin area. The food is delicious and the service is beyond expectation not to mention the ambiance. Although having the fireplace was a plus, I guess having more seating was a better business decision:( During the summer you cannot go wrong with their all you an eat outdoor buffet and live... My sister and I had lunch here last Saturday. I had heard that the menu prices had gotten a bit high recently, but we had a very nice lunch at a reasonable price. We chose entrees from an area of the menu titled "Express Lunch & Mid-day Specials," available until 5:00 pm. There are several entrees in this category and... More

i came to Stagehouse with a friend for a belated birthday celebration. I ordered the prime rib and it was fantastic! I have always been a fan of the ravioli Monday's but really enjoyed my dinner this time. The waitress was super. I didn't even have to ask and she was making sure I had everything I needed. She was... More
