I am a bit of a bagel connoisseur. This place gets it. The bagels are good. A good crowd. Some wait, but moves fast. Pricing is ok (not sure why NJ bagels are more expensive than NYC). Will be going back again.

These are the best bagels in Somerset County. I worry that this place has poor sanitary grades - a 'B". For this reason, I am afraid to eat their meat. The place always looks a little dirty - a little cleanup and this place would rate 5 stars.

We compare everyone else's bagels to Kettlemens. Always a bit of a crowd, popular with due reason. Bagels have a nice little crispy shell with perfect softness inside. Staff couldn't be nicer. Tasty spreads. Bagels always hot and fresh.

My wife and I go to Kettleman's frequently, my wife even more than I. We think their homemade whitefish salad is the best we have tasted and both of us are Brooklynites. I order either whitefish salad on an everything bagel or "The Westerner" which is a western omelet on your choice of bagel. Neither one ever disappoints. My wife... More

Stand in line, order and then wait a LONG time. What is this -- the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld? However, just like "no soup for you", the place knows how to cook. Probably the best porkroll, egg and cheese I've had. Outstanding multigrain everything bagels. Worth the painful process.

Bagels are the best in the area. Good Breakfast and Lunch Meals - unfortunately their service is extremely poor. IF you can bear the wait - go here, if not - go somewhere where they appreciate your business.

I like the food here, always have, although they tend to be a little expensive. But their operation is horrible. The last three times I went here the line just to order has been out the door. This morning I it took me 25 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich that would normally only take 5. Bagel places should not... More

Food is great but it takes FOREVER just to order and even longer to get the food. They aren't organized at all and they don't smile. I go because it's close but you will always wait, even if you call ahead, and no one will smile at you and tell you they hope to see you again.

Chuck Aquisto is super salty and wouldn't know a good thing if it walked up to him on the street and said, "Hey, Chuck, I'm a good thing. "

I was in Somerset with my daughter for a soccer tournament, we ate at Kettleman's three times. Everyone liked what they ordered. The service was quick and the workers were nice. The sandwiches are quite large and the prices were reasonable!
