Went there last Saturday night with a date and there was ketchup on the wall where we sit. Then the waiter came out with 2 glasses of water with ketchup on both glasses. The salads we got weren't that great. It was a greek salad and it was all vinegar. So they came out to clean the wall with ketchup... More

There were a few good diners in the greater metropolitan Washington, DC area where I lived for many years and I enjoyed them.Usually for breakfast, but not always. After reading the reviews here I approached Somerset Diner with the belief that it would probably be pretty good. There were some who wrote "not that good", but I went in confidently.... More

We came to this diner while staying overnight in town. We were so glad we did! The waitress was friendly and helpful when we asked for suggestions. The food was delicious! I ordered a stuffed filet of sole dinner and I was so thrilled. It was cooked perfectly and the vegetables that came with it were tasty unlike some that... More

Wow is all I can say about the French Toast at this place. I was totally unlike any other I have ever had. I think made with Cinnamon bread. It was totally awesome.

Between us we had a... More

Nothing special about this place, except the location, which can be the only reason it is always packed. The food and service is OK, but I travel out of town when I want diner food.

Never had bad food, but it's a diner. Breakfast is fine, Lunch and Dinner can be hit or miss depending on what you get.

This is the first time at this diner and I would give the food an 8 and the service a 10. The diner was very clean. We sat at a booth and was immediately greeted by Nichole who proved to be an excellent server. I order the roast turkey dinner which was good but not great. Good food, very good... More
