Upscale diner

Four of us got four very different meals. There was the amazing filet mignon steak sandwich; Yia Yia pork chops which were really tender, but had too strong of a lemon taste; fish, shrimp, and crab cakes that my father loved; and brisket that wasn't too tender or enjoyable. It was more like cut... read more

To celebrate my wife's birthday, we had dinner here for the first time tonight, on my daughter's recommendation. The menu is extensive, and even the nightly-specials section contained numerous choices to accommodate anyone's taste. We each enjoyed "specials" seafood selections, prepared in tasty ample portions, so large that we had to have our included Bavarian Creme Cake desserts boxed to... More

12 of us for dinner on Easter Sunday. One of the best holiday "dinners out" for my family that we can remember, and we are from Myrtle Beach where there are 700 restaurants to choose from. From steaks to pasta and seafood, all of our 12 dinners came out promptly and at the same time. Really fresh and hot food.... More

Very good food at a decent price, service is excellent too. Very large menu with lots of great choices and friendly staff. The ribs are super good and the bread for the table is special. We have been here many times and have tried many items on the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. The owner is usually there and... More

Had an early dinner. Just burger and sandwich for two people. Was not that good. And was pricey. Was here one time before and it was just ok. Went again to see if it got better. We probably wont return.

Oh how I wish that I could get breakfast in PA like I do in Jersey! I had an omelette, my daughter had cinnamon bun french toast. Both were excellent. Our waitress was really personable, and kept the coffee filled. I wish we'd eaten on a day with nothing to do, as the Bloody Marys over at the bar looked... More

While in Somers Point, we decided to have a quick lunch prior to driving north. While we sometimes frequent the Crab Trap, we pulled into The Windjammer. In terms of style, it is not patterned after a diner; rather it is a large, casual restaurant with a free-standing rectangular bar with booths and tables. Service was excellent (Shana), both friendly... More

If you are a light lunch eater they have a cup of soup and 1/2 sandwhich special. They have a nice selection of salads. Servers are pleasant & efficient. Nice selection of lunch & dinner specials. They have desert to eat in or take out.

While in OCNJ over the holidays, my husband and I had the usual dilemma of where to eat. The Chatterbox was closed. Let's try the elusive Crab Trap in Somers Point. Again, huge wait, no parking spots, left and went back to an old tried-and-true restaurant down the road, The Windjammer. Fast service, attentive waitress, great food (salmon cakes were... More
