Need to Improve a Couple Things to Validate Prices

Quick take: The menu is upscale and pricey for the area – but the kitchen’s execution was inconsistent. The waitress got lost in the weeds. Bottomline is that we were not looking for a value meal, but if you’re paying these prices Baia needs to do better. More: As folks who go to Ocean City NJ... read more

I am a sucker for ambiance, and will even put up with mediocre food for a good view and live music. Luckily, the food, view, and live music were all amazing here. Fresh fish, great wine, while sitting on the upper deck with a view of the bay and live music make for a perfect summer night. Will definitely return... More

Our family of five ate here for a special dinner. The ambience is wonderful (views of the bay while you eat), the service impeccible, and the food superb. Precisely what you would expect from a fine dining establishment. No complaints here! Would definitely go back in the future.

Came here this past weekend for a bachelorette party dinner and we loved it. It was raining so we couldn't sit outside overlooking the bay, but the atmosphere inside is great, very open and modern. Our cocktails were perfect and our meals were awesome. Our server, whose name I now forget (Joe, maybe? Very tall) was great, food came out... More

Went on Labor Day. Could not sit on the upper deck. We were given no good reason. We had to sit on the lower level in the sun. When we asked to use the umbrella, the waitress said use it at your own risk. We ordered a beer and they were out of it. We ordered another kind. It came... More

We came here for our anniversary dinner while on vacation. The view of the bay is gorgeous, and we did enjoy our food. I will say though that I didn't realize there were different menus depending on where you sat. I sort of wish we could have had the option of seeing the other menus atleast, since we saw some... This was our first time at Baia, we arrived at 450 and were told they don't start seating until 500. We went outside to get a cocktail, ordered a beer and chocolate martini. The martini was in a plastic cup about 1/4 filled. We decided to eat inside since the outside served a different menu. Waitress was friendly and very... More

Food was mediocre at best. $184 tab for 4. Veal was a patty and crab cakes looked like overcooked hamburgers. The topper was we were told we had to pay cover charge to go on the deck. Seriously!

I was a little skeptical about eating here after reading the reviews on trip advisor but I have to say we enjoyed our meal. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told we could be seated inside immediately or could wait 30 minutes for a table outside. $10 later we were led to a primo table with a great view.... More

My wife and I went there on a Friday night in late August for dinner. Despite the fact we got there at 8, we were seated inside right away. It was a little loud since we were sitting near the bar area and there was a guitarist. We started with a baby salad that was very good. Real good taste,... More
