Need more customer oriented training.

Wanted a water view dining experience with friends so we called and made a reservation. Only reason this place gets business is from the overflow from the Crab Trap not on their meal quality. Rib Eye steak with bread crumb goo on top which had to be scraped off to enjoy. 4 small no taste baked lobster ravioli's served cold with under cooked asparagus and over cooked spinach made for a over priced disappointing dinner... Thought we would give Baia another try when friends came to town and wanted to dine outdoors. We had several bad experiences there in the past but had hoped they improved in two years. We should have gone elsewhere. Came for lunch around 1:00pm on a Saturday in July. Seated promptly by a friendly hostess which was a vast improvement... More

We made a reservation for 6 people to eat at their outside restaurant. When we arrived the inside restaurant, which we've eaten in before, it was crowded and extremely loud with music and people. So we asked to sit outside as we did in our original reservation and were told there were no tables available. After a little convincing they... More

Planned to go to Crab Trap on a Monday evening but it was packed. Went down the street to Baia and was thrilled with our good luck. Food preparation was better than Crab Trap. Seafood was fresh and sauces were filled with flavor. Garlic and herb sea bass was a treat. Tuscan clam chowder was delicious but was huge -... More

We had a really great visit to Baia. We sat on the upper deck which is more of a fine dining menu than the lower deck. The food took a long time, but it was very tasty. We had a spectacular water view and a great live band. A very enjoyable evening.

I rarely write a review about a lunch visit, but our experience was so good, that I just wanted to share it with you. Baia, is one of many restaurants that have occupied this space. It sits on Bay Avenue in Somers Point, and the views from all the tables and bar area look out over the water and bridge... More

BAIA finally gets it. Baia instituted a great Happy Hour from noon to seven. Chef Robbie has prepared some great six dollar apps. Tori Ryan and of course Stosh make the outdoor deck the place to be in Atlantic County.

Booked our reservations a week in advance after reading mixed reviews. Should have gone with my gut and went back to the Washington Inn in Cape May. Showed up 15 min early and requested a seat outside. Was greeted by a very unfriendly trio of hostess's. They were up there gossiping like a bunch of school girls. Was walked outside... More
