Old world charm meets new world hospitality in this lovely lakeside landmark. A longtime locals favorite serving award winning classic continental cuisine with a modern flair. The restaurant, resurrected from an uncertain future in 1997 by the combined efforts of the Coppola & Bushar families, has since reclaimed its spot among the favorite dining locations in the Atlantic City area.

The food was O.K.:The Onion Soup was excellent - salads not so much. We were greeted by 2 older women who were unwelcoming, arrogant and essentially rude. The serving staff were mixed. Our waitress was excellent. The remainder - bus person/ water server, does not know how to smile and "slopped" water on the table while pouring! We will never... More

The Smithville Inn never fails! If you like fine dining, superb food, excellent service and a great atmosphere, then this place is the place to go to in southern Jersey! I'm especially fond of their chicken pot pie! Also, there is a Lobster Dinner Special every Fri this summer that was awesome. For $20, you get a 1.5Lb whole Lobster... More

1700's hotel/restaurant in old Smithville serving up wonderful lunch menu after shopping in the many boutique and novelty shops. Service was quick and professional and meals were very good. Decor as you might expect reflects 1800's .

Had to send back both meals, lobster special was tough, dry. Waitress promptly took meals back, but received different new meals very slowly and were cold and just subpar. Terrible Saturday night outing. I should have stayed home and cooked, it would have been much better and cheaper!! Never again!!!! 😞

For a delicious, delightfully comfortable and consistently good dining spot along the South Jersey coast, we really like the Smithville Inn. The Friday night lobster special cannot be topped for quality, quantity or price. The lobster is from Maine and weighs in at 1 1/2 pounds. It is accompanied by corn on the cob and baked potato and a salad... More

Had a great time with my sister. Many different shops. There were live animals around the property like chicken and roosters which was kinda cool. Not sure I would go back but we did have a nice time.

A little bit of historic nostalgia as you enter into the lobby with the fireplace adorned with flowers and the hostess, Kathy, was cordial and welcoming. The food was wonderful all three events that we ate there during the 4 days we were there and the waitstaff was great. Nick made us feel like we were home with his smile... More

The place as you walk in is historic and week maintained. The staff was very friendly and greated us immediately than brought us to our table. Our server was very good at what he does, very attentive and remembered everything. The food was very good and axll our meals were great tasting. A little pricey but it's ok for a... More
