So we went to Sunset Pier for an early dinner just before labor day, trying to beat the crowds. Chose this restaurant based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor. We arrived and were immediately seated on the outside deck as it was still a bit early for the big dinner crowd. Waitress was friendly and quick. Started out with... More

The only good part of sunset pier is eating on a pier. The food is Soso on taste and cooked. I've been here several times and the food is under cook all the time. Examples of the chol banana pancakes to the French toast and bacon is never warm. The quick run around from the servers is never a follow... More

We were staying up at 48th but decided to bike down to Sunset Pier for breakfast one day since our 15 month old was up early (as usual). We were joined on the outside deck by a number of other early rising children. The view of the bay and marina were nice. Our waitress was adequate but not very enthusiastic.... More

This is a really great place for breakfast. The menu is that of the old-fashioned diners I grew up with. The service is fast and the servers are nice. Sitting outside is much preferable as the views are lovely. Inside is a bit noisy and crowded, but it is kind of lively. The food is generally quite good. Highly recommend.

Always a great breakfast place but you can do lunch and dinner ..BYOB. Situated in a boat marina with wonderful views and big portions. Service is excellent and food very good. Parking is a problem when crowded

I went there during the week with various family members, party of 8. We were accommodated rather quickly to a nice outdoor table. Wait staff was young gals who were exceptionally good at their jobs. Nice selection of fish and other items, prepared various ways. I had the broiled seafood platter which was really tasty. I think the prices were... More

We would have really liked to eat outside but it was very windy the night we were there. The atmosphere inside was a bit noisy, but most of our party of 6 was happy with the food. My son and I had the penne pesto with shrimp. It was served piping hot and was very good. Another son enjoyed the... More

Had a very nice family dinner here for the first time. We tried blackened mahi mahi, stuffed flounder, stuffed shrimp and the salmon w/crab special. All came out super hot and were good. Service was also very pleasant. Note this is a BYOB, cash only and they do not take reservations. Parking is also limited but we lucked out with... More

We have been to Sea Isle City before but not to the Sunset Pier Restaurant. Glad we went, once for breakfast and twice for dinner or dessert. Food is very good, service excellent, and prices reasonable. Great place to see the sun set.

Enjoyed a great breakfast on the dock. Menu is typical morning food. Basic but very good. Service was with a smile. Indoor dining is fine but lacks atmosphere. Will be going back to try dinner!
