Were here for our anniversery. Our daughter gave us a gift certificate. We were seated in one of the alcoves on the stairs. Our waiter was an amiable young man who is currently a medical student. We both ordered one of the specials, steak and king crab legs. Both were excellent. Service was fast and efficient. We went at 430pm... More

We were at this restaurant the night before Mother's Day so this may have contributed to the wait even with a reservation and the lack of attention of the service staff. While the food was just good it was very salty which I find unacceptable to me. The service was really not great and we did feel ignored by the... More

We went there for our wedding anniversary, and got one of the alcove tables. They had decorated it with an ugly pink cardboard standup that had pieces chipped off and had seen better days and some pink hearts. It was not to my taste. The escargot appetizer was like something that had just been microwaved and did not taste fresh.... More

My BF and I went to Scarborough Fair on Saturday evening for dinner. We had reserved an alcove for dinner, which turned out to be very nice for having an intimate, romantic dinner. We shared a bowl of New England clam chowder, and a Scarborough winter salad, both of which were delicious. My BF had Flounder St. Moritz, which he... More

Hidden off the main highway, this restaurant is a step above the many casual places around it. Food is wonderful. Nice wine list and service is the best. Nice dining experience as the atmosphere is quaint and quiet. Great place to go for celebration.

I love it here. We have sat in different places and do not always reserve an alcove. The alcoves are wonderful, but I also like sitting in different places to check out the decorations. I love the butterfly room (there's a huge wooden butterfly on the ceiling). If venturing out on a busy weekend, or for a busier time like... More

It was my first time dinner at this restaurant. What a wonderful atmosphere from the alcove seating, to the food, to the service, simply outstanding. The crabcake appetizer was delicious, caesar salad was huge and very tasty, my NY sirloin was perfect in every way. Lou, my waiter was attentive and friendly with just the right amount of attention. The... More

From the greeter to our wonderful server to the 3 courses of food and generous drinks AND dessert we celebrated a wonderful Valentine's Day one week early. We have not been here for years and found it just as we gladly remember, a very cosy, romantic, different sort of lay out. You are immediately taken by it as the greeter... More
