This place is romantic and ask for your own private alcove for 2 people. It's a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion. My husband had oysters as an appetizer and the rack of lamb for dinner and I had the bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer and monk fish for my main meal. Everything was very good.... More

This restaurant is set back on Route 35 South and not easy to see from the road, but it is an old home renovated and charming inside. Tables are set in various rooms and also in alcoves under the stairway. Service was prompt and courteous. The wine list was good and the food was excellent. Price was reasonable, given the... More

I have given Scarborough fair several chances to convince me that Their food is more pleasant than the atmosphere. The atmosphere is what makes this place but unfortunately what you're paying for is the food and it is not up to par by any means. The Seafood is very dry and the service is very slow. Even the Caesar salad... More

Though I grew up only a mile from Scarborough Fair, this was my first time dining here - for Thanksgiving dinner - in the 33 years the restaurant has been open. The building architecture is unusual and alcoves are nice. But bring a sweater as the opening door and windows make them cold. The rest of the restaurant is nice... More

My husband and I came here for dinner for my birthday. The restaurant has a somewhat rustic atmosphere and the layout of the restaurant is very unique with dining alcoves going up the stairs. I called two weeks in advance to reserve an alcove which I highly recommend doing as you feel like you have your own private dining area... More

You would hardly notice this place if you were driving by. However, we came for our uncles 80th birthday. They organized a Sunday Brunch. Everything was done very nicely. The decor was very rustic. I would love to come back for dinner.

Scarborough Fair is our favorite restaurant!. The service is fantastic, the food is amazing and the experience is a must for those who have not visited this gem of a restaurant! My husband ordered the scallops for his entree, which is a given for him. He said he's never had them better at any other restaurant. I ordered the salmon,... More

As you enter this restaurant there are stairs going up on either side with tables for diners on ascending levels so that, when seated, you feel as if you are in your own little alcove and not crowded next to the other diners. There is an area for larger groups and an octagon room for private parties also. Menu choices... More

Just love the atmosphere at the restaurant. It was our 49th anniversary and they prepared a quaint side table full of little valentines and, as an added treat, gave us our dessert free. Overall the meal we had was very good-to-excellent. My wife started with the escargot in a puff pastry that she said was divine. I started with the... More
