Wonderful place to dine!

It was my first time dinner at this restaurant. What a wonderful atmosphere from the alcove seating, to the food, to the service, simply outstanding. The crabcake appetizer was delicious, caesar salad was huge and very tasty, my NY sirloin was perfect in every way. Lou, my waiter was attentive... read more

From the greeter to our wonderful server to the 3 courses of food and generous drinks AND dessert we celebrated a wonderful Valentine's Day one week early. We have not been here for years and found it just as we gladly remember, a very cosy, romantic, different sort of lay out. You are immediately taken by it as the greeter... More

Went here for pre Valintine dinner...very nice atmosphere... couples tables very private but must book way in advance....sat in carosel room. The food was not up to par with the ambiance I must say. We had soup lobster bisque. ..which was ok , bacon wrapped shrimp...very nice...but main course. .wife loved her filet mignon.....very skimpy with potatoes side and just... More

This place is romantic and ask for your own private alcove for 2 people. It's a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion. My husband had oysters as an appetizer and the rack of lamb for dinner and I had the bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer and monk fish for my main meal. Everything was very good.... More

This restaurant is set back on Route 35 South and not easy to see from the road, but it is an old home renovated and charming inside. Tables are set in various rooms and also in alcoves under the stairway. Service was prompt and courteous. The wine list was good and the food was excellent. Price was reasonable, given the... More

I have given Scarborough fair several chances to convince me that Their food is more pleasant than the atmosphere. The atmosphere is what makes this place but unfortunately what you're paying for is the food and it is not up to par by any means. The Seafood is very dry and the service is very slow. Even the Caesar salad... More

Though I grew up only a mile from Scarborough Fair, this was my first time dining here - for Thanksgiving dinner - in the 33 years the restaurant has been open. The building architecture is unusual and alcoves are nice. But bring a sweater as the opening door and windows make them cold. The rest of the restaurant is nice... More

My husband and I came here for dinner for my birthday. The restaurant has a somewhat rustic atmosphere and the layout of the restaurant is very unique with dining alcoves going up the stairs. I called two weeks in advance to reserve an alcove which I highly recommend doing as you feel like you have your own private dining area... More
