Romantic and for a special occasion

This place is romantic and ask for your own private alcove for 2 people. It's a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion. My husband had oysters as an appetizer and the rack of lamb for dinner and I had the bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer and monk fish for my main meal. Everything was... read more

My BF and I went to Scarborough Fair on Saturday evening for dinner. We had reserved an alcove for dinner, which turned out to be very nice for having an intimate, romantic dinner. We shared a bowl of New England clam chowder, and a Scarborough winter salad, both of which were delicious. My BF had Flounder St. Moritz, which he... More

Hidden off the main highway, this restaurant is a step above the many casual places around it. Food is wonderful. Nice wine list and service is the best. Nice dining experience as the atmosphere is quaint and quiet. Great place to go for celebration.

I love it here. We have sat in different places and do not always reserve an alcove. The alcoves are wonderful, but I also like sitting in different places to check out the decorations. I love the butterfly room (there's a huge wooden butterfly on the ceiling). If venturing out on a busy weekend, or for a busier time like... More

It was my first time dinner at this restaurant. What a wonderful atmosphere from the alcove seating, to the food, to the service, simply outstanding. The crabcake appetizer was delicious, caesar salad was huge and very tasty, my NY sirloin was perfect in every way. Lou, my waiter was attentive and friendly with just the right amount of attention. The... More

From the greeter to our wonderful server to the 3 courses of food and generous drinks AND dessert we celebrated a wonderful Valentine's Day one week early. We have not been here for years and found it just as we gladly remember, a very cosy, romantic, different sort of lay out. You are immediately taken by it as the greeter... More

This restaurant is set back on Route 35 South and not easy to see from the road, but it is an old home renovated and charming inside. Tables are set in various rooms and also in alcoves under the stairway. Service was prompt and courteous. The wine list was good and the food was excellent. Price was reasonable, given the... More
