Built in 1737 this historic inn boasts many small dining rooms with a fireplace in each room. The Stage House Restaurant offers an ala carte menu every day. Next, The Tavern at the Stage House, which serves up Rustic American fare in a more casual setting. Newly renovated with a new 35 seat bar, a cool little club house and the best Burger in Town. Lastly, The Patio at the stage house, which is a huge outdoor bar and dining room offering either menu. I have been to the Stage House Tavern many times for various events. I feel it has a unique menu, but with something for everyone.

The menu is pretty extensive and so is the wine and beer list. The food and service was good. Certainly worth a visit if your looking for casual food and atmosphere.

First time visit - won't be my last. 3 bars - two inside and one outside. Great service, the bartenders check on me frequently to make sure things were OK. Food was decent - menu has a wide variety of entrees, salads and sandwiches to choose from. I had the Cuban Panini - great portion, very tasty. And excellent soup.... More

The Tavern has a very diverse menu and we've never had anything we did not enjoy. They make a pretty good drink too. It's really great to sit outside in the warmer months, lots of people and fun. But it fills up quickly. It's very nice inside too. I prefer the second floor. Very friendly service, this is also a... More

I go there for lunch, dinner and drinks. Love the food. Service is great, too. It's a great place to bring the entire family. The outdoor dining during the summer months is also wonderful. Highly recommended.

Went here for lunch a couple times. First time I had a burger that I told the group was the best I ever had. To use ketchup would be a crime. Next time tried the pulled pork. It was great. They have a variety of pastas for those so inclined. There is creativity in the kitchen which you should find... More

Visited recently with family in the area. Seems like a popular local hang out. I'd say for a Jersey restaurant that the food, drink and service were all significantly above average. I was impressed by the large selection of appetizers and entrees as well as the drinks. Service was great as well. We were seated in a good area -... More

I knew this place when it was the Stage House Inn, and i have to say that the new owners have turned this into a local landmark. First, they started with the old empty barn next door, then the tiny house next door and then they built an outdoor area and barbeque. They used every possible open space they could... More
