We recently went to a party here, and the service was excruciatingly slow. Our lunch ended at 4:40PM! Needless to say, it was almost dinner! The food was good when it arrived, but the waiters seemed terribly inexperienced. Waters took orders for drinks and then didn't know who ordered what.

Tini Tuesday is the best. Outdoor Barbeque is fun - and good food. Place to be on a Spring, Summer or Fall Night - outdoors is always nice. Good bands on weekends.

Nice menu and weekly specials. During the summer, free barbeque outside! Check this one out. Parking could be tight, especially on weekends.

The old building it's housed in has charm, but I couldn't believe how nonchalant the service was and how mediocre the food was. Our waiter started out pleasant telling us all about the different beers they offered. We ordered at 2:25. At 2:59 the appetizers were brought by a food runner. No extra plates. No waiter in sight. No one... More

We were in NJ visiting family and friends and they suggested we all have dinner at "The Tavern" as the locals call it. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. The decor and space have a wonderful charm of the past and the framed openings to view the old wall construction was very cool and made for a conversation... More

Can't go wrong eating here. Good food, good prices. Good bar scene in evenings - one of few places in town for late night eats/drinks.

The atmosphere and location are great for those who live locally, but this is not a place that I would drive to just to have a meal. Over the years the quality food has gone from great to just...Meh. They do offer a kids eat free program to any child enrolled in the local school chess club. My kids love... More

Great atmosphere, causal dining outside and barside - more formal dining space - food is good although quality is sometimes inconsistent.

We always enjoy eating in this warm, cozy restaurant in the winter with a wood burning fireplace. It is not very large so service and food is very good.
