Got a French dip to go, it was very good. Apple pie was also good but I didn't like the ice cream very much. The staff was very friendly and my food was ready in ten minutes at most.

It was a terrible, Sunday morning, busboy, i think he is Hispanic, he told us that should leave this place because they need that table for any big family. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT IT HAPPPEND in rio grande Diner. I am coming every third... More

I have been here before but haven't written a review. The prime rib is out of this world good. Very friendly staff, family friendly atmosphere (in the restaurant). Ask for it 'blackened' they use some great spices.

Let me begin by saying: I love, love, love, love diners...and I judge them by two main dishes: their LEO and their tuna melt. The Rio's tuna melt was fantastic!!! The service was good, attentive. The value was great...just under $30 for three fulfilling meals, tax and tip included!! I would recommend it and I will return to try their... More

Been coming to this area since childhood but just recently stumbled on this diner. Have visited several times since 2013...seems to be something for everyone on the menu. For me, the portions are plentiful. Diner food to be sure, but it's not a typical 'greasy spoon'...this is the only place I'd trust to serve me an egg salad sandwich. Oh,... More

Calamari and stuffed mushroom appitizers were fantastic as was the fried chicken, however, this time the chicken parm was overdone and slightly burned. Our server was very attentive, drinks refilled quickly. I'll consider it as a slightly off day and will return.

The morning staff seems to get overwhelmed easily and they aren't very attentive to customers. The food is really good considering the price and I've never had a meal I wasn't satisfied with. Go after 3-4 for good service and great food.
