We ate here last night/two couples. Food was excellent/we had imli baingan, pakoras, samosas and prawn balchao as appetizers. They were superb! For main dishes we had tandoori prawns, prawn saag, lamb bhuna and chicken goan. Everything was so good, hard to say which was the best. Excellent breads too. AND it's a BYOB. Service was wonderful. Very pretty restaurant. Unfortunately we discovered this morning... More

Nice curries and good service. Really enjoyed the lamb curry. Much better than other options for Indian food in Ridgewood.

I like Big Lane Curry in NYC but this place is not as good as NYC one. Overall food quality is not consitent: sometimes good and sometimes bad with less choices during buffet.

Appetizer was obviously deep fried sometime ago, then microwaved to heat up, it was the onion barlji? It should be crispy, it was soggy and hot in the middle like a microwave does. My husband had chicken vindaloo, it was good! My shrimp curry something was just ok. Will not be back, wanted to try for some time. Just too... More

This place was recommended by a friend and we are glad she did. The restaurant has a good buzz. The wait staff was very accommodating to my gluten free daughter. The food was excellent albeit a little pricey compared to the competition but I would rather pay more for great food than good food. We will be back.

I am big fan of Brick Curry Lane in NYC but this place is just average. The food is expensive and lacks authenticity.

NO! it was NOT the spiciness of the food that made me cry, but rather the fond memories of home, and the traditional curry dinners every Friday night with friends. Brick Lane Curry house is inspired by Brick Lane, a street in London where the Indian restaurants out-number the fish and chip shops! The British do know a thing or... More

The food is delicious. When you ask for hot - it's real hot as in India. So if not used to that, go for medium. Portions are a bit on the slender side so net, net, expensive for what get but it's authentic and good. Owners are very nice and service is fantastic. Lunch and Dinner are equally great.

We have been coming to brick lane since it opened . We both loved the korma . Went for lunch yesterday and were disappointed to hear the lunch menu was gone and our only choice was the buffet or the dinner menu . I chose the buffet and my husband got the shrimp korma from the dinner menu for $22... More

I've passed by Brick Lane Curry House many times but never actually tried it until a friend recommended it. So, my husband & I went here for Valentine's Day. I made a reservation and was seated relatively quickly, much to the chagrin to all the folks standing in line who did NOT have reservations (HINT: make a reservation!). Once seated,... More
