Good first experience

My husband and I tried the Melting Pot for the first time tonight, and there were some pros as well as cons. We didn't make a reservation (two days after Valentine's, on a holiday) and didn't expect it to be busy -- which is wasn't -- but when we told the hostess we didn't have a reservation, she... read more

Tonight I had made a reservation to celebrate a special occasion/birthday. I had informed both the hostess and our server (and later on also the manager) that we were celebrating a birthday. We were seated right away and informed our server it was our first time eating at The Melting Pot. Both my friend and I had looked at the... More

We took a group from work here for a celebration party. It is good for a group to interact over the meal as you work together to share and eat fondue together. Pros- the food tastes great. Have the chocolate dessert, you don't need the salad. The group had lots of fun. Cons- Really expensive. We received the wrong appetizers... More

The food and service when we sat down were good. Don't arrive here with a less people for the reservation. We had 5 and the reservation was for 7 so we could not sit until the other 2 arrived They were delayed at a baseball game. So we had to stand by the front desk. They gave us a table... More

My husband and I went to the Melting Pot a couple weeks ago, I had a discount coupon so we tried it. The appetizer was good we had a cheese dip that was ok. The main entrée was not good, I got the Land and Sea, chicken shrimp and steak and my husband got Steak Lovers which he liked. My... More

We went here for the Red Bank Food and Wine Walking Tour and I was very disappointed. I've been to other Melting Pots and really enjoyed the visit but the girl working the desk here was so rude. This was one of the spots to purchase tickets for the tour and she had an attitude with people walking up and... More

The joy here is the experience of cooking your own food and doing it with tons of cheese and chocolate. The pain is paying for it. Even done on the cheap this is an expensive meal. Been there 5-6 times, food and cocktails are always good. Service ranges from meh to poor.

Melting Pot is fun. Cooking your own food at the table is great, but this is the type of dinner that takes hours. Go with good friends and plan a few hours!

Went here for my friends birthday, and it was fun sharing all the different fondue options. Melting pot turns dinner into an event. It was very delicious, and super fun. Worth trying

my husband and I go a lot here and everytime we go I have a better experience than the last. I always get a great server and great service. I love the "lovers lane" section..it makes for a really romantic and more private time to spend with your partner.
