It's been a while since we were here. We came to celebrate our anniversary. Our meals were excellent. I had the bacon-wrapped monkfish, and my husband had the poached lobster. Although, his starter was the stand-out. He had the Wagyu beef tartare. The wait staff is certainly well-trained. Service, unhurried, on par with the best establishments in NYC. We said,... More

I have been going to Nicholas for 15 years now. From having private parties to celebrating special occasions to just getting a bite to eat. The staff and food are always above and beyond expectations. AAA always awesome.

My husband and I went here for dinner last night around 6 p.m. We had the only car in the parking lot that was not a Mercedes or Audi. The valet was rude when we asked if we could park ourselves. However, that was where the rudeness stopped. The staff inside was professional and courteous. We ordered the 3 course... More

I have to say, I have dined at this restaurant before and have had a pleasant experience.I work in the food industry and often take clients to this establishment as it usually is very chef driven. However this time around I felt as if I was in another restaurant. First off they sat us in the smaller adjacent dining room... More

NJ's nom de cuisine is the Garden State and Nicholas shows what a talented chef can do with first-class ingredients from garden, farm, and sea. Nicholas' cooking is first-class, as good as anything in Manhattan, and the service is arguably better than the priciest places in the Big Apple. Plus, it boasts a deep and refined wine list, with good... More

Hubby and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary at a new and nice restaurant. Many friends had dined at Nicolas with rave reviews, so we went. Food, service, ambiance all top drawer. Unusual variety of foods, such as a homemade pasta ribbon with actual squash blossoms mixed in. We chose a price fixed 4 course meal, dessert included. Prices are... More

Love this restaurant - never been disappointed. Nicholas makes you feel special and provides excellent wine selections. If you can, arrive a little early and have a drink in the bar/bistro.

This is one of the most special restaurants around. Every dish was exceptionally delicious,.and the presentation was as if it came out of top chef. They also were very accommodating to my gluten free restrictions. It was pricey, but you got what you paid for. Perfect food and service

found this beautiful restaurant in Red Bank...service was excellent and food even better...half of our party enjoyed the six course fixed meal and other half ordered off the menu...the soft shell crab appetizer was awesome and the salmon main was absolutely brilliant...highly recommend for couples and double dates...
