Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Everything was fabulous. The service was awesome. I had the Nero and the steak both priced well and had great flavor. Our waitress's name was Kelly she was very good and recommended great dishes. I am definitely going to go back.

Basil T's is now Birrvino. I have been to the newly renovated restaurant twice this fall and was disappoint both times. Apparently, Vic Rallo travelled to Italy and was inspired to change the format of the menu and and the decor. Though the decor is more up to date with an industrial style feel, he jams tables together so we... More

I previewed this reincarnation of Basil T's which I had stopped patronizing for two years - pricey, indifferent food - with lunch which impressed me. The green salad was inspired and original - and the pizza had thin crispy crust, even though it was the wrong one that I ordered. Promptly rectified as the waitress happily replaced it with the... The entire restaurant was renovated. A sign overhead, that looks as though a 10 year old painted is the first thing you see. It has lost it's charm, it is pricey and just not the same :(

The "new" restaurant, now named "Birravino" (meaning Beer/Wine), is a casual, updated, fun place. There are some communal tables, in addition to the lively bar and dining tables. The Italian wine we had was delicious and quite reasonable. Since it is new, we went family-style so everyone could have a taste and we enjoyed everyone of the dishes. The guys... More

Food is pretty good. Portions are small and way overpriced (even by Red Bank standards). The site-brewed beer is still lacking, something that has been true for decades. I can't figure how a place like this was an early entry in the brewpub fad has never found a way to make truly great beers. The bottled beer list is stellar.... More
