This Chinese buffet is more authentic than other ones in the area. The food you can tell is different than other mainstream buffets. One drawback is that the other night, they were "low on crablegs" and only allowed for 1 plate per person. We still paid full price for the buffet. The sesame chicken is out of this world delicious!... More

Great Buffet. Not your typical Chinese buffet. You can tell as soon as you walk in that they take pride in their place. Food always seemed to be "moving". There were, as expected, some "heavy hitters" grazing by the crabs. Lucky the crabs could even make it to the tray/bin. You have be become assertive and aggressive around crabs and... More

Most importantly, the restaurant is clean, and the serving area is also kept up very well. It does not have the greasy smell that many Chinese buffet has. The Chinese dim sum is especially noteworthy. The shrimp dumpling (har gao) and steamed BBQ pork bun (char siu bao) tasted similar to those at a real dim sum restaurant. The fried... More

... I love buffets. I can do the same justice to them that I could in my younger years. I still enjoy the variety. This is especially true at Super Star East Buffet. The area around the restaurant is, ethnically, very diverse. It is also very close to Princeton University and to a broad range of high-tech and financial companies.... More

You want choices? This is the Buffet for you! I tried three new dishes and many regulars. Check online for a discount coupon and menu. Mongolian station is great.

First, let me say that I am not a big fan of Chinese buffets. Also, we were only there for lunch, so I can not judge the dinner offerings. Lunch, however, was what I would consider to be typical Chinese buffet offerings. Nothing terrible, nothing great. I would have only given it 3 stars, but the other choices in the... More

Its a smaller buffet, although they claim is large. I have eaten at other Chinese buffets that were 3 times the size at 1/2 the price. Food is on the bland side. They do offer a lot of prepared salads, that are quite popular. It always is crowded as there are no other buffets in the area.

This is a very good Chinese Buffet for a good price. Crab legs and a full line of foods on the steam tables with dim sum and soups. A fine selection for any taste...

I have tried multiple Chinese buffet in PA, NJ, and NY. I think Super Star East Buffet so far tops all the other ones. It is a nice environment, for starters. Spacious, neatly-arranged tables, and not-tacky decor. I especially love the lunch buffet. the wide selection of Cantonese dim sum is what will drive me back there time and time... More

One of the most varied buffet offerings I've been to whose cost is still reasonable. For a group of seven on Sunday afternoon it was $85 including tip. Be mindful to get the hot tea, or iced tea as other beverage offerings come wiht a charge (though also very reasonable!).
