Saint Patrick's Day 2015

This past Tuesday I visited my family for a pleasant lunch at Witherspoon Grill. My cousin had called early in the morning and asked if I was up to a meeting with his Sister and her Daughter in downtown Princeton. Since I live only 15 miles away and I am open to social family events I said yes... read more

This restaurant was recommended by friends who have kids at Princeton. It did not disappoint for lunch! Lovely outdoor seating with plenty of shade. Nice wine selection and a variety of wonderful food selections. You can eat light with several great sounding salad selections or opt for sandwiches or many entree selections! They had 4-5 daily specials. Food was served... More

Have been here many times to grab a casual drink or to eat lunch or brunch in the bar or outside in the commons. Great drink specials for brunch and the food is great too. Love the seafood tower to share.

Vin Merlot and Mrs Merlot are now back in Princeton and New York for another visit. We had lunch with another couple (locals) and they suggested the Withersponn Grill. Princeton is a lovely town with Princeton University as a focal point. Back to the Witherspoon Grill, food typical American diner fodder but here overpriced. Vin had a taste of 4... More

This is a pretty standard grill-type restaurant, although maybe it is the best of this type in Princeton. I don't know this, but Princeton is small so this may be the case. My steak was good, and they have a good beer selection. Both the tables to the left of me and to the right of me were I think... More

Stopped here on a beautiful Saturday for lunch with my three daughters. The restaurant was hopping with the dining room and patio full of diners. We were greeted and seated immediately, drinks were ordered and promptly brought to the table. Our server was very busy, but very nice and friendly. We waited to order for a bit but it wasn't... Came here for dinner with some friends and I was pleased with every aspect of the experience. The staff is attentive and friendly, the food is delicious, and the environment is relaxed. The steak tartar was the best I've ever had. I would definitely return.

We were looking for somewhere different to have lunch, and this fit the bill. It is centrally located off of the Main street of Princeton. The inside is quite large, with lots of seating. It was very crowded, so I think this is a place that is visited by regulars. I was impressed by the menu, which had any diverse... More

Cool atmosphere paired with an awesome menu. French onion soup was in the top 3 I've ever had. My girlfriend's lobster risotto was cooked perfectly and my filet was perfection. A definite recommend if you're in the Princeton area.
