This place rocks! Wonderful environment and great staff. You must try the Witherspoon drink...it is incredible. Also, the seafood three tier 'sampler' simply incredible. On another visit there I had a drink that included local blackberries that were seriously the largest blackberries I've ever seen in my life. Never had a bad bit or sip.

Yummy food. It's definitely one of the best, if not the best, places to eat in the square. I think it's expensive for lunch for sure. The burger is around $17. But it's a delicious burger. So, if you don't care about cost, this might be your jam! It has a bit of a fancier feel, which I like.

My friend wanted to have dinner here after not seeing each other for a long time. Therefore, the night was about going out for dinner and eating and talking and enjoying our daughters who were with us. My friends arrived before us and were waiting for us. It was a very cold night and had the table next to the... More

Witherspoon Grill serves up a reliably good meal at lunch or dinner. Service is uneven, especially if the place is crowded as it often is. Getting a glass of wine or beer before ordering can take some time. Outdoor seating in the plaza outside is very pleasant. It is a good place for casual dining -- not great cuisine but... More

If not for the gift card we would have gone elsewhere but Witherspoon Grill's hickory burger and turkey club sandwich has changed our minds. They were great! I saved half for lunch today and couldn't wait to eat it. I like this place it's a lively and fun atmosphere and our dinner was great.

In my previous review , I wrote about a horrid dinner experience at Witherspoon Grill. A friend who goes there a lot said you just had to know what to order. We were invited again, reluctantly to this establishment, and I plan just to have water. But, "the friend" insisted I try the French toast. Delicious! 8 hot dogs size... More

Six adult family members from all over connected in Princeton, NJ this weekend, and met at Witherspoon Grill at 2:30pm on a Sunday. We just squeaked into the brunch hour (ends at 3pm). The food was universally enjoyed - from lobster bisque, to an angus burger, grilled chicken sandwich, etc. I personally enjoyed the spinach salad and have to say... More

A .little overpriced, but otherwise a great spot in a town that needs more good restaurants. Friendly bartenders, good food, pleasant hosts, very comfortable environment. Fabulous if expensive hamburger and lobster mac and cheese. Need a better outdoor "drinks only" area.

we visited Princeton NJ this past weekend and dined at the Witherspoon for lunch and dinner. The food was excellent, the service was top notch, the drinks were perfect and the atmosphere was wonderful. You must eat here if you're in he area. A bit pricey but I firmly believe you get that you pay for. This place nails it!
