decent hoagie place in Princeton

Good place to grab a hoagie. Reasonable prices, open late. Very limited seating, better in warmer months.

As described by friends, this is an incredible quick meal spot. I had the chicken cheese steak and it was delicious. One tip, if you're not sure order the smaller size as the larger size is enormous. Also had the fries with pepper and their homemade ketchup. Amazing. Last tip, have them put the "Sanchez" sauce on anything you order.... More

A wide selection of hoagies, each sounding better than the others. Went with the Body Bag with a side of buffalo fries and was more than happy with the choice. May be crowded when University students are in town, though.

A friend took me here at around midday the morning after a heavy night of drinking. Both of us were unbelievable hungover and dragged ourselves to Hoagie Haven to indulge ourselves in some greasy goodness. I ordered a footlong Sanchez and was not disappointed. It was greasy and had enough calories to feed a small family, but most importantly -... More

Get. The. Sanchez. Seriously! Fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, fries, and delicious sauce on a hoagie! A couple can share one and its filling. Make sure you eat first then walk. This is last rights type meal food.

My son had a sausage parm hoagie today. I did not taste it, but it smelled so good it was killing me not to!! It was an outrageously delicious aroma and I thought I might have to wrestle it from him!! He wolfed it down so fast I didn't have a chance!! It smelled to DIE for!! Oh, and I... More

This place is everything we wanted. Terrific toasted hoagie w melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. the works. It's so big we shared it. So delicious! Four seats inside otherwise take out. Benches outside. Wish we had them in Boston.

I used to love this spot located in the center of down town on Nassau street. The prices are great still and the menu still has my favorite sub choices, but the service wasn't what it used to be. I experienced a rude staff who really didn't want to listen or pay attention to my order. Personally I understand a... More

OMGoodness. Hoagie Haven transcends TripAdvisor with thousands of T-shirts and 100's of thousands of satisfied customers (500 undergraduates from Princeton each year and just as many townies and visitors for 40+ years) roam the earth with good feelings about this authentic, tasty, fresh and ridiculously inexpensive food option in the middle of Prep-land, NJ. How many people have George and... More

What can one say about Hoagie Haven that hasn't been said by legions of locals, students and visitors. Silly national sandwich chain learned the hard way - opening a few doors away (now shuttered). True Italian rolls from Trenton's best bakery, abundant meat and fillings and the best sandwich makers in town. Yes, it can be very busy. But, standing... More
