Ok, I haven't had everything in HH but I'm a cheese steak fan and I was eager to compare to Pat's in Philly. Did not expect high quality but the hoagie was delicious. I would recommend the cheese steak with grilled onions, American cheese and ketchup. May sound a bit primitive, but simple and perfect when hungry. If you have... More

All day sandwich, huge amounts of calories and a great price. Go there and take the biggest sandwich you can find. You will not regret it.

We went because my boyfriends eldest son kept encysting that we go with him. I've grown up around New Brunswick, NJ Rutgers food trucks. This is basically what this establishment is. They are in a little strip mall with 2 other restaurants and lets just say - the other places were slow. This joint was packed and they kept on... More

But just an average sandwich. The do make some interesting combinations, but the set up makes it hard to know what's on them before you start to order. Set up sort of like a Subway, you order a sandwich and then choose toppings. It's a bit chaotic when crowded and is a favorite stop for the college crowd. It offers... More

I’ve visited the Princeton area a bunch of times this year, however last weekend was my first visit back to Hogie Haven after many years. The place seems as popular as ever. Perhaps it is the proximity to PU, or maybe the lack of direct competition of the greasy food that young students like. Unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed with... More

I first discovered Hoagie Heaven years ago when I would pass the location and see the line of people. It was a must-go to place back then and after a number of years it still is a winner in the food category. Affordable prices and my fave of course is the cheese steak hoagie. For those unfamiliar with Hoagie Heaven... More

Went here based on a recommendation from a friend and the reviews on trip advisor. I am a foodie and love nothing more than a great hoagie. I grew up in NJ and spent time living in Philadelphia so I feel qualified to comment on both the Italian Hoagie and the Cheesesteak. We were waiting in line for about 10... More

I ordered the pizza cheesesteak with everything. The person making it must not have understood me, because all it had on it was what tasted like steak-um with ketchup. I also ordered some of the chili, which was quite different than i was expecting. It was good and spicy, in a heartburn kind of way.

About a ten minute walk from the front gates of PU, but totally worth it. There was a constant stream of kids, teens, and adults coming in, which is always a good sign. The employees were working hard and filling orders quickly. We had cold subs and a delicious chocolate chip cookie. There was a great variety on the menu.... More

I used to go to Hoagie Haven as a teenager (I'm in my late 40's now). I could swear the prices are the same as they were in the '80s. The hoagies (especially the #1) are classics. It's too bad that there isn't a place inside to sit and eat.
