Great service

We ate here while visiting Princeton for a conference. Our friends had been twice already, and the waiters greeted them like old friends, and us, too. I think that was special, considering they knew we would not likely be back. It was near closing, but we had no sense of being rushed. Our... read more

Service spot on...Pleasant atmosphere, great selection , and overall wonderful dinner. Started with the shrimp Quesadilla's , followed by the Crab cakes, soft & light, just needed the fresh lemon to enjoy them. Finished up with the house made vanilla bean ice cream, topped with Belguin chocolate sauce. Wanted for nothing that evening.

Went to a had way point to meet family for lunch that we had not seen in many years. Called the day before for reservations in the outdoor patio since it was forecast to be a gorgeous day. Was told reservations were only taken for parties of 5 or more. I said perfect we would be 5. Upon our arrival... More

This is a lovely restaurant in Princeton that has excellent food and reasonable prices. Best of all, parking is free and plentiful. The crisp stuff that they serve in the bread basket is the best. In the summer, eating outside is wonderful. Really comfortable and pretty. They have a bar which is fine. I love the mussels and steamed artichokes... More

My wife and I come to Man Street Bistro a few times a year including yearly on Valentines Day. In the past they have asked for a CC to reserve a reservation but they did not this year. Upon arriving we we greeted and promptly shown to our table in the middle of the restaurant right near the fireplace. My... More

I've eaten here on and off for about 30 years. At the beginning the place was terrific, then experienced some growing pains, and then righted the ship again. Based on yesterday's meal, I'd say things are in back in good shape. The salmon BLT was outstanding, although it's not really a BLT in the traditional sense. It's a large salad... More

My parents-in-law, who've lived in Princeton for 50 years, love to meet their friends for meals here. So our family came here for lunch over the holiday, and we really enjoyed the Ribollita, French Onion Soup, Steak Sandwich, and other perfect-on-a-cold-day foods. You would never guess how warm, inviting, and well-run this restaurant is from just looking at its plain... More

We have been here with friends a couple of times, In the summer it is delightful to sit outdoors in a courtyard setting. With the colder weather, we were seated indoors. The ladder back chairs are most uncomfortable. The food is just OK. The portion size of salmon entree was so small, maybe a child sized portion. It was also bland,... More

A French friend and long-time Princeton resident introduced us to this wonderful bistro at the Princeton Shopping Center on North Harrison Street on a Saturday evening. Main Street does not take reservations and though the bistro was busy we didn't have to wait long for a table. We ordered cream of mushroom soup, Civet de Poulet, and Grilled Breast of... More
