My husband and I recently dined here. It is a nice restaurant with a cozy ambiance. The staff are very attentive. The food was really well prepared. We both started with the soup du jour: cream of carrot. Really, this is the best I have ever had. I make this soup and I was tasting and tasting to try to... More

Usually we eat lunch at La Mezzaluna, but this time we had dinner. The restaurant does not have a liquor license but the liquor store immediately next store is very accommodating and they uncork free. The food is excellent and one in our party had a tight deadline and they rushed her meal. The pumpkin ravioli are delicious and al... More

Decided for a Monday night dinner, since we understood the place gets busy later in the week. It was surprisingly full, with one large group. Absolutely loved the newly renovated interior, classically simple and yet very inviting. The service was extremely courteous, but not invasive, and our risotto dishes (mine with seafood and the other with meat) very tasty. Great... More

Delicious meals. Known for the risotto dishes, which did not disappoint. We had excellent meals with great service.

We had a company function with 25 people which they handled very well. We had a menu choice which had great options and they were spot on with the service. All of the food and wine we had were excellent quality and my other dinner companions seemed very happy with their selections as well. The only thing I can say... More

Warmly welcomed by the owner on a Tuesday evening in January, the table was ready and we were seated immediately. Kind of unexpected, as I was told this place gets really busy. Great appetizer selection, opted for the octopus which was excellent. Main course, Ribeye steak was a large portion and tender, huge portion with mushrooms. Potatoes, carrots, broccoli all... More

This restaurant is tiny and very narrow and it can be quite loud - that is the only negative, The food is wonderful - the fried calamari is some of the lightest and most tender that you will find. The seafood dishes are always very good and the desserts are great. This is a wonderful spot in Princeton for a... More

La Mezzaluna has steadily delivered good food with risotto being a standout. The restaurant is in an excellent location in Princeton and carries a small, family run, yet upscale feel. As I now dine there a bit more frequently, especially for lunches, I gravitate to their seafood main courses. I just enjoyed an excellent bass entre for which they were... More

Small, pretty, very busy restaurant, serving authentic Italian fare. The owner is very friendly, and "hands on" during busy times (helping to bus tables, opening wines) but he still finds time to greet and chat with the regulars. We had to wait a while for a table even though we had a reservation, but the food was worth the wait.... More

We had heard many good things about this recently remodeled restaurant and were eager to have a meal there with friends. Remember, this place is BYOB (a wine shop is next door) which we enjoy vs. paying two or three times market price for a bottle of wine. The food is upscale Italian and for the most part was very...
