fast, authentic, no frills. Summer you can sit outside, inside is small. Great for pick up and homemade quaccomole is delicious

Picked up lunch here the other day and had modest expectations from this small place. They were met though I wouldn't go looking for fine Mexican dining. I ordered their signature mole chicken and enjoyed it; the meat was not the most tender but was compensated for by the sauce and decent tortillas. I chose as accompaniment an exotic Mexican... More

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was, sadly, just ok. We may try again. It was crowded and people seemed comfortable.

For quick lunch or dinner, this small café is a great value. If they have just made tamales they're wonderful. if you're alone there's counter service in addition to half a dozen tables.ice

There is no other review I've felt more compelled or even obligated to write than this one for Taste of Mexico in the Princeton Shopping Center. If this is what "authentic" Mexican food is supposed to taste like I never want to go back to Mexico! I have been working in the Princeton Shopping Center for 7 months and this... More

Went last night to Taste of Mexico off of Nassau Street in Princeton - just ok. Prices are good and the service was ok but the food - not so good. Partially cold entree with weird tasting ice tea. Place has pretty much no atmosphere either. Three of us finished our meals, but all agreed they would not be back.... More

The food is fresh, made to order, and not greasy. I've been only to the Harrison Street (Princeton Shopping Center location) and it's a small place. Maybe 5 tables and a counter. Outdoor seating in good weather. The fresh guacamole is amazing. I love the chicken fajitas, which include spinach, broccoli, as well as the standard peppers and onions.

A small little gem (they actually have 2 restaurants in Princeton..but I prefer the one right off Nassau street in the downtown) Great chef, huge portions, and a good menu! If you like authentic Mexican - this ranks high for me - and I'm a Mexican food lover!!

Not good enough to call average, not bad enough that i don't get take out lunch from here once in a while. this place has an unusually unreliable kitchen and the food just tastes as though they're always missing a few of the ingredient they should have included. Nice folks though.

Yesterday my girlfriend and I did a "girls' day out" in Princeton and decided to try the Nassau Street version of this restaurant. We each ordered vegetable fajitas and were looking forward to a nice, warming, spicy lunch. What arrived looked bland and unappetizing. On the plate was a bunch of reddish beans in sauce that looked like it came... More
