Good food

Large portions. Good food. Cash only. Nice place that's off the beaten path but worth the trip. It's a residential neighborhood so parking is easy to find.

The location is difficult to find and they take cash or check only, but the food is very authentic and tasty. I would recommend to anyone in the Princeton area for mexican food.

Not to hard to get to but not in the well established Nassau Street area, this small gem is located in a neighborhood several blocks from downtown. Parking can be a bit difficult, but if you are up for a walk, you'll be happy you made the effort. The restaurant is nicely decorated and welcoming. The food was delicious and... More

Husband enjoyed the Santa Fe buritto. Huge and chock full of fresh veggies. Delicious! I enjoyed the fish tacos, fresh and seasoned to perfection! Good service and reasonable prices. We will be back soon!

This restaurant has mixed reviews, mainly that it is over-priced. Not cheap but not bad for Princeton and generous portions. Pleasant atmosphere and good street parking. The quesadilla was like an open-faced pizza and surprisingly filling. My table mates enjoyed their mole chicken and burrito. The one negative note was the flan, which looked lovely, but was overcooked and bitter... More

Generous portions. Most meals are $15-20. Good experience. Being from out of town, I had to drive a little to get here. Next time, I'll probably try something else, but I wouldn't mind coming back here. They don't take credit cards, so be aware of that. Cash only.

We just had a fantastic meal at Tortuga's Mexican Village. A four course meal for three people (two adults and a toddler) totaling $70 with leftovers, which we think is very reasonable considering the size and quality of the food. The complimentary chips and salsa were brilliant, very fresh with just the right amount of spice. This was followed by... More

This cozy BYOB has a small parking lot behind the restaurant. It's in a residential neighborhood, about a mile from 'downtown' Princeton. We split everything, since the portions are fairly large. The service was fine and even though the restaurant was crowded, our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Loved our nachos (which had plenty of cheese), burritos... More

This is a BYOB restaurant which is a home, having limited number of tables that are turned over very quickly by a hard working staff. The food is good and the crowd gets busy, which is awkward if you are seated on the lower floor and people start gathering in a crowd around your table...waiting to be seated. Cash only.

Very good authentic Mexican food. Went here when visiting family and am so glad that I did. Everything was absolutely delicious.
