Celebrated my husbands Birthday at Mediterra, the food and service were good but not exceptional. We both felt it was a little over priced.

Mediterra is at the heart of picturesque Palmer Square on the storied campus of Princeton University. I have dined here several times and each visit has been memorable for the charm of the restaurant and its setting, the exceptional cuisine, the fine wine list, and gracious service. My recent visit followed a long day of meetings. We started with the... More

Menu selections are eclectic, so check the menu before you go, but all the food is fresh and well-prepared. The ambience inside is cozy and nice.

So far, this is my favorite Princeton restaurant. The food is good quality, well-prepared, served by an attentive, well-trained staff and supplimented by an excellent wine list. Throw in a beautiful dining room, and you can expect a memorable dining experience. Octopus and Mussels were both excellent.

Daughters birthday dinner - Griggs chicken, Pork Ossobuco, Salmon entrees and Bent Spoon Trio, MochaTart, and Apple Tart deserts were spectacular. Service was swift and friendly. Reservations required at least on Fridays. Place is packed with customers. Dont look too hard for street parking. Best option is parking garage diagonal to restaurant entrance. Pricey but worth it for special occasions.

Great experience at Mediterra particularly at the bar on Thursday or Friday night. Fun, good wait staff and neighborhood feel.

Meditera provided our small group with a very nice dinner. We were welcomed nicely. The service is attentive and friendly, unhurried and unpressured. We enjoyed a nice French cabernet and very well prepared meals. The salmon was very good and the short ribs of beef (a special) were splendid. Altogether a charming meal. I would very happily dine here again.

In the last year or so, Mediterra has become of very fun place to go. Some of it is an overhaul of the menu to make it clean, simple and delicious, focused on fresh local foods with a Mediterranean flare. Moreover, the bar scene is lots of fun and there is music a couple nights a week--percussive guitars that had... More

We went to this restaurant in the heart of Princeton for a nice dinner. First of all, there were (4) women at a table suited for small children. I am always amazed that restaurants place people at a table that an appetizer cannot even be shared because there is no room. The bruschetta was not bruschetta, but some soft bread... More

I highly recommend the Canal Farm local green salad. For starters the Olsson's Artisanal Cheese Plate is a must as is the Brushetta. For the entrée - the Niman Ranch Pork Ossobuco and the Scottish Salmon - perfection! Beautiful décor, staff was very attentive. Extraordinary cuisines in downtown quaint Princeton. The perfect find for friends from out f state!
